The property is showing some wear. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. A partial ocean view room is let down. Not sure I’ll stay there again.

We got an ocean view room with a small balcony, nice place to sit and enjoy watching the waves, surfers and people enjoying the sun. You can enjoy the beach, just few steps away. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always greet you with a smile. The hotel is in the middle of waikiki strip and across the street from International market(mall), very convenient!

We did pay for an ocean-view room but got a room facing the book and what I would call a partial ocean view. Also, a bit strange because Expedia Platinum does mention free breakfast, but Expedia only pays for one guests' breakfast regardless of how many people you paid for the room (not a property issue) Regardless a great location and we did get a newly remodeled room so overall it was nice, but I do wish there was more clarity in honoring room upgrades since we paid an extra $400 for the ocean view and were basically facing the pool.

We had 2 rooms reserved and were able to open the connecting door which was great. We requested ocean view and got both ocean and city view which was great. They offer clean fresh beach towels every day. The location, cleanliness and friendly staff were all great. I recommend Marriott wholeheartedly.

Location is very good. Was able to walk to many shops and restaurants. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

This is a special place, and I really enjoyed my stay here. The morning yoga classes on the floating dock were exceptional. Just be aware it is a 3-star resort, so don't expect the units to be in top condition. Cleanliness could be better (corners, top of the fridge), though overall acceptable (linens and towels were clean). Overall a very peaceful spot with amenities to offer and friendly staff. Oh, and the daily banana bread was delicious (and vegan, which was a pleasant surprise).
