The hotel's strategic position in Thun made it an excellent base; a quick 30-minute train journey connected us effortlessly to Interlaken. "Wonderful property! Great views of lake Thun. Helpful, friendly and bilingual staff (I speak English). Superior double room was fantastic! Large, clean, modern, great balcony with great view. Spa was ridiculously nice and included (save massages)! Underground parking included too if you are touring, which we were. Probably my favorite stay ever, anywhere to be honest and my teen and young adult children felt the same which is not always easy. Worth the price and short walking distance to boat station too if you are headed to St. Beatus or cruising."

"Great property, breakfast included and 4 chf per night for parking. Great breakfast and views are breathtaking from the room. As property were old and under construction, there was bit mess around and no fans or AC. We left windows open with lights off so no bees or insects visit us. However, we enjoyed best mountain views with easy parking and great variety of breakfast. "

"Room was well maintained, breakfast spread was extensive, staff were top notch in terms of friendliness, sauna/infinity pool is incredible. Shuttle to/from train station on day of arrival/departure was convenient. Spiez is a wonderful little town. This is the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at, and we WILL definitely stay here again! "

"Loved this hotel! Staff were very friendly, location was perfectly in the middle of the locations we were going to. Bus stops right in front of the restaurant attached to the hotel, and this same bus goes straight to the train station so public transportation is convenient. Despite not adding the breakfast option, coffee, tea, water, and umbrellas were available to all guests. Thank you for an awesome stay!"
