"This was the worst place we have stayed in a long time. Not even a hair dryer!! Had to ask for an iron. No ironing board. They told us to use the table. One bedside table and a hard chair. People smoking right outside our door. Needless to say we should have left but it was a prepay. "

"Check in was delayed an hour because the room wasn’t ready. The room was spacious and comfortable. Decor was 90’s country. AC worked well. The shower took a bit for the hot water to come in, and water pressure came in and out. Parking was easy when we checked in on Friday but Saturday was difficult. We had to park at the back of the overflow lot on gravel. It was also poorly lit. Breakfast on the porch was good. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The view of the lake was nice. Food was served fresh and quickly. The location can’t be beat, basically a 5-10 minute walk to most restaurants and shops. While some aspects of the inn are outdated, its charm, view of the lake, and location make up for it. "

"During my short stay, I noticed several large roaches in my room. I attempted to contact the number that had been texting me to ask if I needed anything, but I was unable to reach anyone. I also included details about the issue in my checkout notes, yet no one followed up with me after I returned home. Unfortunately, I later discovered roaches in my luggage as well, which was extremely upsetting. I sincerely hope the property owner takes responsibility and makes this situation right, as this level of cleanliness and lack of response is completely unacceptable."
