The whole experience is awesome! The host were so friendly and the breakfast was delicious! The host offered us the summer card and totally out of our expectations which provide us lots of activities to do in Zell am See. Will definitely recommend to our family and friends to stay over!

Excellent Place and Excellent Hosts

The property is immaculate and it is easy to tell they made small touches to make life as good as possible for their guests. I cannot express how awesome the hosts are. Very friendly and accommodating, amazing breakfast, the cleanest place I have stayed in years. Parking is easy and the location is quiet and safe.

In February 2020 we stayed at Landhaus Gitti during our 5 days long winter vacation in Schüttdorf, Zell Am See. The host is very nice and helpfull. It is a small Hotel with a few number of rooms, which contributes to a very nice and quietly atmosphere. The breakfast was very good and was only made by the host themself. Very clean throughout the hotel. Because of the long drive back to Denmark, we left the hotel in the middle of the night. Without asking we had a nice back with fruit, yogurt, biscuits, candy etc for us and our kids for the drive. Impressive service. This small hotel is situated on a side street in a residential-looking neighborhood south of Zell am See. That takes one out of all the noise and bustle of the more touristy areas (with their restaurants, shops, and businesses—a plus and a minus if you don’t have a car), but also presents an initial challenge in finding the place, even with the assistance of good GPS. It is a lovely facility, obviously well-maintained and tastefully decorated. The manager goes out of his way to orient guests to the building and to the Zell am See area (very helpful!). If you are sensitive to noise, you should know that the hotel lies quite close to the railroad line and that trains can be heard until fairly late at night and fairly early again in the morning (noise was no issue for a comfortable night on our parts, I should add). There is no elevator in the property, so if you get a room on an upper floor, be ready to carry your luggage up the stairs. The room was fair-sized by European standards, and the breakfast (the usual breads, meats, and cereals, plus the option of eggs your way!) was served in one of the nicest breakfast rooms we have found in our travels. Best of all, all of this is gotten at a price that is $50-$75 paid at other three-starred hotels in other locations. What’s not to like about that? Would we stay there again? Absolutely, now that we know where to find it!

We had a nice time in the nice little hotel in Schuttdorf, right between Kaprun and Zell am see. The breakfast was excellent, staff was helpful and there was plenty of things to do in the area and the scenery is really beautiful. My only complain is related to the public transport system, that it was hard to figure out which times busses where leaving because timetables in brochures, busstops and on the website showed different times.
