The staff was very accommodating and professional. The facility infrastructure was ok. They lost power often but only for short periods of time. The concept was luxurious and wonderful. I'll come back for my 5yr anniversary. Be mindful, food options are limited but offered onsite in buffet-style.

The customer service at this Hotel is second to none. I am particularly impressed with the food and Beverages Manager Mr Kalei. He is very hardworking and is on top of everything. He made sure we were very comfortable and happy with the service. He is a great asset to the team. The General Manager Mr Ally was very hospitable and humble. The staff are great. Food is great and a lot of healthy options. Staff are honest. Lost my wallet with a lot of money in it and it was taken to the reception without a penny missing. I rate them 10/10

We enjoyed our stay here. This place is very clean, cool atmosphere and greta staff. My only con was that the food was just okay and there is no food, snacks or any other options available easily outside of the set times for meals. No amenities nearby but a great place to get away and relax by the pool and private beach.

We had an amazing stay for our honeymoon. Excellent service and beautiful facilities that are well maintained. Food was consistently great. Nice massages although the spa area is a bit small. The beach itself was not the greatest due to seaweed but the staff did the best to rake it up during low tide. Beautiful pools and swim up bar. Only one area that might make sense to update a bit: For the price, it was odd that there were no sparkling wine options in the all in inclusive package and that certain common beach drinks made with local alcohol were extra (like pina coladas). Perhaps the all inclusive option should include a premium drink per day, or premium drinks are discounted if you're already paying all inclusive rates? Nevertheless we would strongly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose it again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous high end hotel, modern feel, immaculate throughout with exceptional customer service. Great food and drinks (all inclusive), beautifully designed spacious rooms, lovely pool and bar on the beach. A perfect place to relax after a week's safari, would highly recommend it.

TOA hotel was much better than we were expecting, we stayed for 4 nights for our honeymoon. Loads of great things about the hotel are : really modern, clean, great breeze (minimal mosquitos), right by the beach, private beach with lots of sun beds and umbrellas. They had entertainment on a Saturday and the food was really good each night. It’s about 1hr drive from stone town so that’s the only con if you want to be in that area but it seemed really busy in stone town when we were there so I preferred the east side with beaches.

TOA is a new facility in the as-yet unspoiled Pongwe Beach area. The facility itself is beautiful, and kept immaculately clean. The staff are unfailingly kind, helpful and efficient, and everyone greets you with a smile and warmth. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared, and the grounds and amenities are spotless and carefully maintained. The most memorable part of the stay is the staff; I cannot say enough about how kind and generous they are. I highly recommend a stay at TOA.

Stunning property, great food and staff. The only catch is that high tide/low tide makes it almost impossible to swim (in January it’s low tide until 4pm).

Nous avions la chambre au 2 ème étage (sans ascenseur) qui donnait sur le couloir de nage. Les 2 derniers jours, nous avons subit les nuisances sonores en continu du groupe électrogène, nous n avons rien dormi de la nuit. Le Directeur Ali, est très présent, mais n a rien fait pour arranger pour nous satisfaire et par compatir. Un grand grand bravo à tout le personnel Et en particulier a Said et au petit stagiaire de la réception qui parle très bien le Français..

Meme si Expedia s’est montré en dessous de tout concernant l’accompagnement lors de la perte de bagages et de la gestion des vols, cela n’enlève en rien a ce lieu magnifique, managé de main de maître par un directeur accessible, prévenant, présent et toujours disponible pour ses hôtes. Le sejour a été des plus plaisants, notamment de par la qualité des infrastructures et des prestations sur place. Bilan : n’hésitez pas à vous ressourcer dans ce lieu de rêve mais évitez de passer par Expedia, dont nous partagerons incompétence notoire sur les réseaux sociaux prochainement

Wir haben jede Sekunde im TOA Hotel & Spa genossen und uns super wohl gefühlt. Der Service war fantastisch, ebenso das täglich varriierende hochklassige Essen. Unser Lieblingskellner Steven hat uns immer mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen bedient. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die morgendlichen Omelettes, die Sarah mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch die Mehresfrüchte und der Fisch (Oktopus, Tunfisch, Languste, etc.) waren wirklich hochklassig. An der Poolbar und an der Beachbar mixen Jeremia und Yemesy sehr leckere Cocktails und bringen diese sogar zur Liege am privaten Strand des Hotels. Die Animation mit Ismail („Coco“) hat unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht. Gerade das Aquagym mit ihm war ein toller und spaßiger Ausgleich zum vielen Essen und Relaxen. Er hat uns den Urlaub absolut versüsst und hat immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und findet für alles eibe Lösung! Die Zimmer und auch alle Röume des Hotels (inkl. Toiletten) sind jederzeit einwandfrei geputzt. Insgesamt ist das Hotel in einem super Zustand und wirklich toll designt. Der einzige Negativaspekt während unseres Aufenthalts war eine Gruppe ca. 15 junger Damen, die meinten das Hotel als Partylocation nutzen zu müssen. Dies empfanden wir in den entsprechenden 2-3 Tagen als etwas störend. Es kam einem etwas so vor als hätten sie eine „Sonderbehandlung“. Alles in allem war es trotzdem ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt und wir können das TOA uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Une merveille à Zanzibar !
Nous étions en vacances en famille avec un enfant de 1 an et notre séjour a été une vraie merveille ! Toute l'équipe est vraiment aux petits soins, et s'assure que votre séjour se déroule pour le mieux. Les chambres sont de très bonne qualité, et elles sont nettoyées 2 fois par jour ! La piscine est superbe. Les cocktails sont très bons ! Nous avons aussi pu utiliser les services d'une baby-sitter pour s'occuper de notre enfant en journée, pendant certains jours. Un des meilleurs points de TOA est son buffet : il est exceptionnel, renouvelé très régulièrement avec des plats de très grande qualité et variés. Je recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés : vous passerez un séjour sur un nuage, dans un cadre paradisiaque ! Vous pourrez aussi facilement réserver des excursions sur l'île principale et sur d'autres îles de l'archipel. Merci à Ally et toute son équipe !

Best in Zanzibar! Woww, what a great hotel! Super Beach, very good food and a new exellent furnished hotel complex with a pleasant capacity! The staff is not to be topped, I travel a lot but I have not experienced anything like this! Unbelievable hospitality, thanks to Ally and his team for an unforgettable 13 days! You are the best, woww, axante xana and hakuna matata!
