"This is a roadside hotel attached to a restaurant with some nice areas to sit and relax. The owner and staff were super friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. There was no air conditioning, but they provided two fans that did the job. We spent most of our time visiting Pamplona and Vitoria, so we mainly used the hotel as a place to sleep. Overall, we had a very good experience at Aritzalko. Recommended!"

Booked through Expedia, which seemed to cause some confusion for the staff upon arrival but after some investigation by the staff our booking was found. We booked a shared room for a family of four. "Good size, well equipped clean rooms in a fairly unremarkable building. Being over 60 we struggled a bit with the online registration process but got there in the end. If you are looking for a budget option close to San Sebastián I would highly recommend this. Great coffee shop just across the road and up the hill as well."
