Comfortable Stay & Great Restaurant
The hotel is well situated. Although it's a little bit dated, we still had a comfortable stay there. The restaurant at the property is amazing. We sat down there and ate for several hours because it was raining outside. The price is excellent.

Could have been better.
Amazing unobstracted view of the mountains and great location just 10min away from centre. As for the hotel it would really need a makeover, it is very dated. But the most disappointed moment was when we arrived with 2 luggages each and the receptionest informed us that our rooms where on the 3rd floor and with a smile she told us that the hotel does not have left. So it was a struggle for 6 ladies to take our belongings 3 floors up. As for the restaurant we where on room only so can not comment.

I was with a group of 40 hillwalkers with my club, and stayed for 7 nights. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, obliging and helpful, and everything was made very easy for us. The food in the restaurant was fabulous - I would highly recommend it. The park setting and the location beside the city centre were ideal and it was great value. Overall, this was the best accommodation that our club has ever had in any of our trips abroad

Nice clean hotel in the heart of Zakopane
Great, friendly, comfortable, clean hotel in the centre of Zakopane at the right price. Not much more you could ask for.

Wonderful stay in zakopane
The hotel is quite good, with a wonderful view of the mountains and very helpful staff. The only drawback is that there is no lift so be prepared because we had to carry our luggage to the 3rd floor.

Nice, clean hotel
Staff very nice. Clean. Excellent family room with 2 bathrooms! Beds could do with being updated - only let down. Great location. Close to town and Gubalowka mountain. Play room. Good family hotel (if you're ok not having a luxury bed. Didn't bother me, but would my parents).

Nice room but terrible noise
The hotel rooms were lovely and the restraunt next door was great, but there was terrible noise every night with drunk people coming back and messing around in the corridors. When it was mentioned to staff were rude and they said just put earplugs in. I think that is terrible customer service and I would never stay here again.

second time to be here
really money saving if you stay in this hotel. Relative close to bus stops and supermarkets. 10 min walk to shopping street. rooms are clean, but not so big.

The hotel was nice enough in a good location. It was just a little dated and the rooms could do with having air conditioning. The staff could also have been a little friendlier.

Super hotel good value for money, rooms were cleaned daily with adequate facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave good advice on attractions and where to catch the local buses great location to access the center of town. If your planning a visit to Zakopane this hotel is well worth a stay.

Hotel in the heart of Zakopane
Pleasant hotel to use as a base for your Zakopane travels. The rooms are ok, though tired and dated but were cleaned to a good standard. Breakfast was enough to get you started for the day. The restaurant served very good, tasty food for a good price. The mountain views from our 3rd floor room were amazing but would have been appreciated more if there had been a lift to get us to the third floor! The staff we encountered were all helpful and pleasant.

Need improvement in bathroom, breakfast is offered in the hotel was delicious; however, should be open earlier than 8:00 a.m. It would be more convenient for visiting people who plan to go around Zakopane. We left the hotel at 7:00 a.m. to visit Morskie Oko lake without breakfast.

Good value for money. Hotel is dated but has a good restaurant at very reasonable prices. Location is great . 5 mins from bus station . 5 min walk to centre. Rooms have 70s feel

The receptionist was very helpful...the room was spacious, with a great views of the mountain. The location is perfect....near bus/train station...about 8min walk and also to the shopping area. The only bad thing was I didn't stay there long enough... I will return back here again next time..

A comfortable experience.
Even though I had checked the hotel's website I was delighted by the actual location. The willingness of the staff to help me with any queries was exemplary. My room was basic but, like the rest of the hotel, clean to a high standard. I would recommend Hotel Helios and Zakopane to anyone.

For the price don't expect five star but it's a comfortable clean hotel with excellent dining and helpful staff that were of great assistance when we had to print out plane tickets. Centrally located. Enjoyed staying there.

no elevator. I had to lug my suitcase up 3 1/2 flights of steps. woman at front desk was extremely helpful. She spent several minutes with me explaining what I could do in town next day. Her English was fine.

Good value hotel
Good value for money hotel. Stayed for 8 nights on walking holiday and was in excellent position for stations and Main Street. Rooms were clean and comfy with excellent views of the mountains. Pretty quiet location overlooking park. Breakfast choices were ok although toaster broke halfway through stay and wasn't replaced. Would stay here again.

Had no problems with the hotel. Very clean, good facilities, very good value restaurant well located. However I didn't find the town welcoming and left after less than a day. Unlike Krakow which provides for all nationalities Zakopane didn't seem to want the English,

The room was quite small but comfortable. There was no real chair for the desk. The shower didn't have a shower curtain so the entire floor ended up wet. The staff was very friendly. Only a couple of the staff spoke English and they were very helpful.

This hotel suited my purpose which was relaxation as well as exsploration of Zakopane's attractions.The staff were very friendly and helpful.It was comfortable and good value for money. I would definitely recommend it to other travellers. The only downside was an old squeaking mattress !

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room for 3, so I had to sleep on the pull out bed that was uncomfortable, but the other two beds were OK. The breakfast buffet was insufficient for the $20.00 per person price, so I was told that they don't put out a lot, because they don't have too many guests at the moment. I think the hotel was OK for the money, but I don't recommend breakfast.

The apartment style room for our family of 3 was nice in size with a great view of the nearby mountains and close to everything the town has to offer. Lacking an elevator made it difficult to get up to our 3rd floor apartment - especially when arriving with luggage. The kitchenette was a bit sparse - no microwave or any way to warm or cook anything. A toaster and coffee machine would have been nice. The breakfast buffet was great each morning! The Italian restaurant on the property was very good, too.

I arrived in the morning around 10, room was ready and I was also told that I could help myself to breakfast, as the buffet was still available up untill 1100-nice of staff as I had only really paid for one night, meaning I should only have breakfast the following morning. Great value for money, clean rooms with all the basics. I also left my wallet at the hotel, realising a few days later- staff were again very helpfull and found my wallet for me, returning it to me without anything missing.

This is a nice hotel located about 15 min walk from the main pedestrian area with shops and restaurants. Hotel clean and well maintained. It has no lift. There is a small selection for breakfast.

Reasonable priced hotel with excellent breakfast
