Broken AC during high summer, very disrespectful.
We were given a room with a broken AC during high summer! We could barely sleep at night because it was too hot. I asked them if they were going to fix that and they said they would but they didn’t. Very disrespectful towards customers, they should never ever let people stay in a room where they cannot sleep in. Don’t recommend this place ever.

Dear guest,We apologized to you immediately since we at that moment discovered something was wrong with ac unit . To make things easier to you we put ventilator and cooler box because at that moment we couldn't do anything else. We have shown our utmost respect towards you and other guests , but . sometimes things are not solvable the way we want. Immediately we contacted AC company but unfortunately that unit demanded extensive work and unfortunately was fixed day after you left. During your two days stay we 've done everything to make it comfortable for you . If we had free room at that time we would have offered it to you as it was told to you.Once again our sincere apologies Regards

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We were able to have our laundry done a bit after hours due to their kindness. The room was clean and cool. The location can’t be beat.

The property was beautiful, nicely located and clean. They have a very nice restaurant and delicious breakfast. The only negative that I need to say is that they charge you for keeping your luggage until check-in and they won’t let you check-in earlier than the anticipated time. Also, if you don’t have a family room you have to rent towels. Overall was a very nice stay.

Beautiful, clean, updated, quiet hostel!
Clean, beautifully modern facility in the heart of old town Zadar! The rooms were so thoughtfully designed, the beds with curtains are so cozy and they even have a drop down shelf inside! Looks like the photos! Bathrooms were great and clean! Zadar old town is very small so everything was in walking distance. NOTE - I chatted with the people in my room, but as a solo traveler it is NOT a very social hostel.
So cozy! I wouldn’t even mind a top bunk here.

This hostel was exceptionally clean by hostel standards and had excellent staff and a fine dining restaurant attached that you can get a discounts for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is good and affordable. There is also a common bar area to meet people. The staff will do your laundry for you for a small fee. The location is a 2-5min walk to everything in Oldtown. Located 1minute from Peoples Square. Not a bad thing to say about this hostel and my time spent in Zadar

The two nights stay at private room was great. Bed comfortable and bedsheets smelled amazing. Air con easily controlled. Great spacious shower. Everything modern. Nice breakfast. Great location too. I'd book again.

The location of the hostel is outstanding, easy to find and ideal for a few days in Zadar. The bed space was clean and functional. However, the actual room could do with a clean, with mirrors so dusty. The showers were good but only 1 female toilet for 6 bedroom dorm room is a bit limiting especially when it’s for other rooms as well. I would stay again and the beds are comfortable.

perfect location for exploring Zadar
I had a very pleasant stay here. The outstanding benefit was the staff who were very good and nothing was too much trouble- The boss was as good as it gets! It would be good to update the upper floor dormitory for better AC- as it can't cope at night with 10 humans! Other than that the facilities are great. The other benefit is the restaurant below which is very convenient and with a comfortable garden to relax after a hard day at the beach. Thank You!

Lovely helpful staff. Beautiful clean room. Hot showers. Slightly awkward getting into bed due to low slopped ceiling but comfy beds. Ideal location right in the heart of zadar old town.

Good value stay in the heart of old town
Great location. Shared areas were nice, good decor throughout. We stayed in one of the superior double rooms. Nicely decorated, a little shoddy on the maintenance front (dripping AC unit, loose toilet seat, slow draining shower & sink) but nothing that impacted our stay.

I stayed at a women only shared dom on the second floor. Cleanliness really depends on ur dom mates. The Cleaners at the hostel work really hard. It is a shame some folks can’t clean after themselves. The hostel is safe and in excellent location. U get discounts for being guest at the restaurant downstairs for lunch and dinner. Receptionist is excellent. U get a wardrobe with key to keep ur suitcase safe brilliant. I took buses from skradin to zadar and it was easy. It is very safe. U have a security card to unlock ur dom. U can get vegs from green market there at a very good price.

Even though there is a common area in the hostel, it lacks a social atmosphere as there is usually no one over there. Nevetheless, I would still rate the hostel positively as it has a rather conducive environment in terms of quietness.

Pretty updated clean looking hostel with exceptional service. Our sheets were disgustingly stained with who knows what. No ventilation so everything is wet and clammy feeling. Comfortable double mattress instead of two pushed together. In the center of everything, but wouldn’t stay again.

The owners hired the best architect to design this lovely and most efficient building, I was lucky to have the room all to myself, business being slow in the winter. The room had a slanted roof that made it look like a Swiss chalet, the bed was very comfortable, and to top it all, a staircase has been managed for the guy who sleeps above me, so no bother Marija the receptionist for the week end was most efficient and most competent in her field It was a great experience and the price was right.

Small boutique style hostel/hotel in center of Zadar tourist district. Nice restaurant on site that gives discounts to guests. Most rooms on small side. Wifi down ENTIRE 5 day trip. Was never fixed. Pretty loud until at least midnight with music from bar/cafe. Better suited for younger crowd who will be enjoying city more than hostel. Has elevator. TV has many channels in Croatian, English, German, French and even Arabic.

Great location and staff. Recommended.
+Great location. +Clean. +Staff was very nice and always willing to help with information about the area, beaches, tours, transportation, etc. +There's a small common area and balcony/terrace. +There are electrical outlets near each bed. +The bathroom is fine. Plenty of hot water. -But, like many hostels, they need to put a little shelf in the shower so you don't have to put your toiletries on the floor. -The weak point was definitely the wifi. It was really slow and sometimes didn't work. -There some noise at night from outside, but that didn't bother me at all. Anyway, that's part of having a great location in the center of the old town. FYI there's no elevator, but I don't think that will matter for most people. Overall, I definitely recommend this hostel. Thanks for a nice stay!

Great hostel, location, & staff. HORRIBLE WiFi.
Overall, a great experience. Great location, very clean, very modern, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. The only downside is that WiFi at this hostel is HORRIBLE. Didn’t work for most of the 2 night stay I was there. Even though they utilize multiple networks, None of them worked with any degree of consistency. When bringing to the attention of multiple front desk members, they just shrugged it off saying they will “try to fix it later”. Later never came...
