Wonderful location on lake, beautiful 14th century small walled city , had ferries available close to montreaux, Geneva and Chamonix for lake and mountains fantastic

Wonderful!
Absolutely amazing stay! One of my favorite places now! I loved my balcony overlooking the water - it was so peaceful! And the receptionists were so kind and friendly. The restaurant on the water was amazing as well - those views!

My room had 8 spiders occupying much of the ceiling, two of them very large by any European standard. A few more, freshly killed, were blotches on the ceiling A bit too much wildlife indoors

Disappointing
Hotel is in a perfect spot for views of lake and marina but it is in real need of an upgrade. It’s tired and warrants only a 3 star rating at most. When we were there we only saw one member of staff very helpful but the bar was closed as was the restaurant other than lunch on some days Beds unbearably firm! It feels it’s living in the 1980s.

Staff was very helpful. Room and hotel very clean. Right next to dock for ferry from Nyon. Lovely little balcony with a view of the lake. Air conditioned room.

Charming hotel in a charming town

That stay was awesome, excellent food with amazing view... All personnel was very helpful and friendly, special thanks to lady in reception ! Cute hotel, beautiful village just minute away. Just fall in love.... Next time same hotel, no doubt.

Lovely, well-managed hotel
This was my second stay at Hotel Jules Verne and both visits were a great pleasure. I was graciously welcomed and questions were answered thoroughly. The hotel room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The same was true for the entire hotel. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a very nice selection of food. I'll stay at this hotel again and recommend it with confidence to others.

Low quality, high price
We stayed for one night. The quality of the room was low given the high price and the room decor was "tired". Bed not very comfortable. The bathroom flooded every time you have a shower. We did not eat there but i noticed that the restaurant was empty although the one next door was full. Also the charge for breakfast was 25 euro which was excessive for whats on offer. One positive point was the girls on the reception were helpful. Generally just low quality in every area. In our opinion the management are only interested in making money, not the customers and quality of the facilities. Would not use again.

Step off the ferry and you're there!
Excellent location, friendly staff and a beautiful view from our 3rd floor room and terrace. You can see this hotel as you approach by ferry. It sits right on the lake and the sunset views are stunning. The town of Yvoire is charming...shops, restaurants and ice cream shops abound. The hotel is 3 floors, ask for an upper floor for a better view of the lake.

Peace and solitude with great food
Small hotel with 16 rooms located right on Lac Leman (Also known as Lake Geneva). Located at the base of the hill within the Medieval village of Avoir, France. A little hard to get to from Geneva, but straight and a beautiful drive taking 35 minutes to downtown Geneva. I drive longer then that to get to work everyday! The owners are working 18 hours a day to please you and are always smiling and asking what they can do for you. They are actually a professional couple that decided they wanted to own a fine Restaurant, Hotel and went all out! The food and ambiance is incredible, fine dining with each dish worth taking a picture of. You will love the medieval village and all the L'artisan shops and several other fine dining restaurants. One for each day of the week. The view of the harbor and lakefront is incredible. I am definitely going back. Great place to unwind and write your memoirs.

Great location, overlooking the harbour. Rooms were very clean & perfectly comfortable. We booked two rooms, both same price, but one was considerably larger than the other (also with nice balcony). Dinner was good, service was friendly though seemed a bit under-staffed as waiting time to take some parts of order was a bit lengthy.

ROOMS WITH A VIEW
ALL ROOMS GIVE DIRECTLY ONTO LAKE LEMAN. MOST HAVE BALCONIES OR A SMALL GARDEN. THE ROOMS ARE PLEASANTLY DECORATED AND CLEAN. THE HOTEL HAS A RESTAURANT WITH TERRACE GIVING ONTO THE PORT AND THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHERS IN THE VILLAGE. YOU CAN'T PARK YOUR CAR NEARBY BUT DESPITE THE ROAD SIGN SAYING ALL VEHICLES PROHIBITED YOU CAN DROP OFF YOUR SUITCASES. AS THE HOTEL IS AT THE BOTTOM OF A STEEP HILL IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO DO SO. THE STAFF AT THE RECEPTION WERE VERY HELPFUL AND ACCOMMODATING.

PAS DE PARKING
L hotel en lui même est très bien mais ATTENTION pas d accès en voiture. Le parking de l hôtel se situe à 10mn à pied. Grosse descente pour aller et grosse montée pour repartir. Déconseillé aux personnes handicapés et qui ont du mal à marcher. Par contre aucune communication sur le site de l hotel qui envoie un mail pour nous informer sur le parune fois que la réservation a été effectué. Dommage

Établissement encore en travaux sur le restaurant mais la partie hotel est au point. Accueil. Serviable. Arrangeant. Seul bémol: Le parking de l hotel est hors du village et il y a 1 forte cote à remlnter avec 1 bagage mais ils vous aident. On peut aussi bien se stationner au parking du rempart pour 2 eur contre 10 à l hotel. Ils sont bcp plus aimables qu' à l hotel du port ( meme standing .oû j ai déjeuné. Cher. Tres bruyant. Peu aimables . A fuir)
