Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. "Really enjoyed this place, the room was more than sufficient for a family of 4, had all the amenities in it for a longer stay if it was required, not to mention the open air private onsen/bath was perfect after a days walking. There was a lot to see locally all in walking distance, cafes near by, otherwise the train station is close enough to use to get around on. Will definitely look at using this accommodation again if I find myself back in Japan around Nikko!"
