"I really appreciated having a full refrigerator and stove top. The place was rustic but we had everything we needed. The only thing I could say that I wished could have changed was that we had arrived at 2:20 pm and asked to check in early. They said the cleaning lady hadn’t released it after cleaning."
"Staff were friendly and helpful. What an amazing place filled with activities and all we needed plus more to enjoy our time. Loved the spacious room and bathrooms. Whirlpool was hot and perfect after a day of hiking, wish I’d had time to visit the spa."
"This is one of the first lodges outside the national park and the people who run this place are AMAZING! The lodge is, as you would expect a bit rustic in places but I loved the traditional vibe they are keen to maintain. It is peaceful and quaint and the parking right outside the lodge a great help. We didn’t try the pool but they have tried to cater for tourists 24/7 and I think their little extras of coffee in the office and free bottled water were nice little touches.
Our room was ok, needs a little TLC as does some of the grounds but I understand new people are in and I hope they do those little things that add to the quality of this little lodge place. It was a gem and I can’t praise the staff who work there enough."
"What a great experience! We discovered the Autocamp in this trip and decided to give it a shot, we were pleasantly impressed. Being in the middle of nowhere, staying in a caravan but not lacking anything is quite the luxury. Want wifi, comfy beds, food or stary nights, a cool fire put to gather around and eat smores? You got it all. We are already planning our next Autocamp trip!"
"Celebrated 5 years with my boyfriend at Under Canvas this last weekend and we had the best time. Neither of us are camping people so we opted for a “glamping” experience. The tent was so nice and I loved having a private bathroom and shower. We’re from the city so we were terrified of bears but we didn’t see any at the site. We shared lots of laughs about what could be causing tree branches breaking at 2 in the morning though! The staff was excellent and it was a memory we’re going to remember forever. The site had beautiful scenery and I can’t express enough how glamorous it felt being in a tent with a bed, a shower, and a bathroom. I highly recommend staying here. Such a great place!"
"Everything was awesome, the only gripe I have is that we went to use the spa at 10pm, an hour before they close and we were still charged the full price of the day pass of $20 each. So, we paid 40 dollars to use the hot tub for an hour. I get it but also, I think there should be acceptations for people who check in late and leave early. Besides that, the rooms were awesome, very well kept. Super comfy beds, the food at the cafe was yummy, coffee was great. I would come back here!"
