"My daughter and I were in town for a concert that was being held at the Raymond James Stadium that weekend. I was very close to the venue. It was a little confusing in the beginning to check in and we needed to call for assistance. The person on the phone was very helpful and quickly processed our check-in in no time. Upon opening the door we were very happy to see how clean and well kept everything was. We both comfortable and safe. Parking was easy and they provided a parking tag to put in your car. If we ever come for another event, we will definitely stay here. I recommend this place for your next getaway."

"Hotel has a spacious lobby area which you can wait around if you have a late flight. There’s a Starbucks at the hotel for those who need their caffeine fix. As for the room, it’s really spacious. I just wish there was a makeup table to get ready in since the bathroom has limited space to put out the makeup. I was on the 5th floor and has my windows closed during the day time because the pool was literally outside. People can look inside your room! Definitely lacked privacy. I’ll recommend people to skip the 5th floor to be safe. "

"Excellent property, price, and wonderful staff. We were there for 1 night to watch the Tampa lightning game so relatively quick trip. Saw a bunch of reviews knocking the place. I’d like to clear the air with some of the snowflakes out there. Yes they are renovating in the building next to where we stayed and have done a great job erecting temporary partitions between the hotel and the construction. Yes we were there on a weekend so no construction was happening. The property is in good condition…does it need some updating yes hence why they’re renovating but our room was clean, quiet, and wonderful balcony with a view of the Hillsborough river and downtown. They have a little bar set up and some great seating looking out at the river. The staff could not have been more friendly and outgoing. Now given the construction we probably would not book anything mid week and the amenities are limited at this time. For a quick one nighter or weekend in Tampa the place is great and the rates were half of neighboring properties. Plus walking distance to a ton of downtown Tampa stuff. Can’t wait to get back there after the renovation is done because it’s a spectacular location. Great work by the staff!!!"

"The Front Entrance is not clearly marked. The Address on the Web Site and printed materials is a block away from the valet entrance. I was hot, tired, and frustrated after knocking on 3 or 4 sets of doors along 7th Street before I stumbled around the corner to the valet entrance, which I guess is the main entrance. The pool area was full on Friday mid-afternoon, with 3 or 4 seating areas blocked off as "Reserved". For whom? How do you reserve a seat? I retreated to the lobby in my bathing suit, found a comfortable chair, read for an hour, and then tried the pool area again. Hurray! One lounge was open! But the banquet staff was setting up for a wedding and reception, and after a brief swim, I had to pack up and leave again. So much for a relaxing afternoon by the pool. The room was very nice, sleek, and clean. But a better reading lamp (or two) would have been useful. I had to use the flashlight on my iPhone to review the printed reports I had to read. Over all, the staff in every location were very pleasant and helpful."

Second, you pay enough that you would expect free parking, but in fact, the parking is also inside the hotel, and you still have to pay for it. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, since you can find better options for the same price, including free parking.""
