This is a lovely old property in the process of becoming. The staff was wonderful, the property, beautiful. Location & parking were just fine. However,I chose this inn partially because it had a King room for us. Upon arrival, the room turned out to be a closet, taken up entirely by the bed, and with only a tiny window in a weird little tiny unusable ell of the room. No natural light = unacceptable. The only other room, was a Queen at a cost of $100 more/night. So for a room with no view, but actual windows (which didn't even open), and a smaller bed, it cost more. Infuriating bait & switch. We should have been offered the same price for the Queen room, as the Inn was basically empty. The breakfast was nice, but no other real amenities to speak of. In fact, when we tried to enjoy the fire pit on our last night there, the GM started shutting down the patio around us (the only guests) at 7:pm - Clearly signaling that he wanted to go home. I would not recommend this place. Also, for any future travelers, our second room was on the 3rd floor - probably old servants quarters - steep, narrow stairs would make this problematic for some people so be sure to ask. It was very difficult to carry our luggage in & out.
