"We had a fantastic stay! The owners/staff were very helpful, allowing us to store our stuff during the day and even bringing it up to our room. We would definitely stay here again!"
"A great, comfortable and historic INN with the best breakfast in Alaska, and it was complementary!
The staff was pleasant and helpful.
I had a great two night stay and will definitely stay there again."
"Beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable lobby, sitting areas and guest rooms. What a lovely hotel! Front deck staff and our dining room server were excellent; welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful!"
"The property is an old building with lots of history. My room was clean and Jeff was very helpfull. Coffee and/or tea were. Available at the front office area. A microwave was also available there. My room had direct access through a back door which was very convenient for taking out my dog and easy access to my car. The adjecent properties share the history of a former military fort."
"The main issue we had as there is no sign on the building! There is no way to identify you have arrived at the location. You have to get the room key from a store near the building ( we had to ask people in the street and eventually another store owner took us to the right store to get the key) very unprofessional and frustrating. "
"I stayed here the night before I caught the ferry and it was fantastically comfortable. The only issue that I had, and it was very minor, was finding the check-in instructions, but it was no trouble - another guest showed me the way. Well, there was a second issue. The driveway is very steep with some very sharp turns. I had everything I owned in the back of my pickup, so with the added weight, it was problematic for me to maneuver the driveway. If I'd known, I would have parked on the road and walked up, found my room, planned my route, and then driven in. If the weather had been different, it would have been a problem. All of that said, I loved it and I would absolutely both recommend it and stay there again. "
