"Room was decent, they had built a different type of shower to the ones in sutton ibis hotel lower quality in my opinion but worked fine. One bedside lamp was broken and they tried to fine me for it but was broken before we arrived so be sure to report any faults while you are there. Staff were polite and breakfast was standard, enjoyed it but could have nicer sausages. Would stay again "
"The room was lovely spacious and clean. Decor is good. What could be improved is in bathroom there is no sanitary bags or body cream like other hotels. Also no coffee pod machine. Also a male member of staff walked into our room I assume to clean he didn’t knock and it was not passed checked out time my elderly aunt got a shock as she just come out the shower but laughed it off thinking the poor young man would have got an eye saw I didn’t complain but they should really knock before entering esp if there is no sign on door saying come in. Breakfast was ok nothing special. As you go into lift there should also be a sign advising to watch step as an uneven slope which my aunt tripped on .. they put the sign in the lift but really needed to be outside as you approach the lift. The location is great for beach shops n lanes "
"Hotel is lovely and friendly and my room was comfortable and spotless. Spent one night here unexpectedly as a female solo traveller for business and felt comfortable. Breakfast was great - street parking outside which is free from 6pm - 9am. Will definitely stay again when I am back in the area. Managed to get a walk along the beach before dinner and after breakfast because it is situated so close to the beachfront. "
"Excellent location, price and clean, roomy and comfortable room. Poor lighting in room though and morning street noise.
Hotel frontage and reception undergoing needed renovation. Helpful and friendly staff. "
"Here’s a polished version that keeps it honest but reads more smoothly:
Stayed one night in a family room with my two teenage sons. The room had one double and two single beds, with tea and coffee provided. We had a lovely sea view, which was a real highlight. The room was clean, with fresh towels and bed linen.
There was a fan in the room, but it was still quite hot during the day and overnight due to the weather. On the positive side, the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. The location is also convenient, with a Co-op supermarket close by."
"Room was clean spacious, I can’t fault it. Beds very comfortable. At check in a gorgeous black man called, Henrich I think that’s his name, very welcoming very friendly, engaging, professional and looking absolutely gorgeous. First morning breakfast was fresh and delicious. Second and third morning breakfast was a let down. Tasteless wrinkly tomatoes, tasteless mushrooms beans look like they have been on stand for too long looking dry at the top, no yoghurt. On the second day I went out with my son who has special needs and a medical condition, we didn’t stay out for too long because he was over heating due to his condition. Upon arriving upstairs my room key refused to open the door, my son is screaming panicking and I needed to go to the room asap to shower him so he can cool down, I asked the housekeeper to help me open the door, she refused I showed her my key she refused again , I called reception and told them the situation but the receptionist couldn’t understand what I was saying, at this point my son is hysterical , screaming scratching, then the housekeeper realises the situation was serious she opened the door. I went in , took care of my son . Soon after i went to the reception to sort my keys out. A receptionist called Gionni large built with glasses, I told him my keys need to be activated, With arrogance and disrespect he tells me that without proof of id he will not activate my key, Manager stepped in, confirmed details on system and issued 3 news sets of keys."
"Lovely room, spotless, beds & pillows a little hard. Crisp linen and fresh towels and gorgeous shower gels and soaps etc supplied.
Little disappointed nothing on the tv other than paid for movies, couldnt even listen to radio or watch freeview when chiling out for a while. Room was lovely and quiet and nice blackout curtains too. "
