"Avoid property under this host. They requested a deposit paid before check-in via bank transfer because there wouldn’t b any front desk for check-in. That was fine. And it stated it would do deposit refund 7 days after check-out with no damage reported. I checked out 5th April, so far no one contacted me regarding any damage found. "We had a nice stay at Hotel Königgut. The breakfast was very good, and the hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Salzburg's Old Town. It may be a little difficult to get around without a car. There is currently some construction going on, so the main lobby is closed, but it didn't affect our stay too much. Overall, we have no complaints and would recommend it."

"The apartment was an excellent size with the second bedroom far enough away from the other to give each other privacy. There was also a separate toilet and large bathroom. The bathroom had both a bath and a shower. The kitchen was well equipped and a good size. The balcony was nice for sitting out on but you couldn't have a family dinner there as it's long and thin. Very comfortable beds with good quality mattresses in both rooms. The saunas and two quiet rooms downstairs were a lovely bonus and we made use of these each night. The one star missing is only for the following two reasons. 1. At night there can be some noise from the lift and elsewhere in the hotel and I needed to drown this noise out to be able to sleep. However, it didn't bother the other three people I was with. 2. The car park is very small and always full so don't rely on being next to the hotel. I would stay again though but ask for a room away from the lift."

"A very lovely place for a quick rest during a hectic travel itinerary. The lake is gorgeous and being able to go for a swim was a welcome reprieve from the heat. One note - the rooms do not have air conditioning. We happened to be there during an extremely hot time. We were provided with a good fan, which helped a lot. I'm certain that AC is unnecessary 90% of the time, we just happened to be there when it would have made a big difference in the overall comfort."

"This place is a proper hotel. Clean, modern, comfortable - there was even AC in the room!!! Honestly, I'm shocked that we could afford this place because of how nice it was. It was a lovely stay, especially after traveling through Europe and staying at some not so nice places."

"Excellent hotel; family owned and run. Three of us stayed there last week in one of the top floor 'loft' like rooms, with sun roofs in bath room and bedroom. Very clean room, very clean lobby and hall ways. Decent breakfast. In a village, hence a bit of a trek to get to. Front desk is open only during the day and rooms still have old type physical keys!"

"Very friendly staff at reception. Great breakfast, play areas for children. Roof lounge was lovely. Room felt a little dated, beds not the best, but everything was well taken care of and it was a peaceful place to spend some time. Didn’t get a chance to try the pool but nice it was open late. We stayed just for one night in the middle of a long road trip when everything around Salzburg was booked. We’d do the same next year."
