"Nice scenic spot in a small town to take a break from the coldness of a chain hotel. Owners were super responsive to questions. Instructions for access were clear and thorough. Wish I could have stayed longer!"
"We stayed here when passing thru Virginia to head to South Carolina - This is an older hotel but very clean and good sized room and bed was comfortable, air conditioning set just right. We especially liked the continental breakfast spread set up by Pat and conversation with other friendly staff. Pat has been working here for 30 years and said new owners planning renovations. Parking was convenient next to the hotel with east side door entry. We did not get a chance to explore downtown, but hotel is located across from the performing arts theater - art deco and historic buildings nearby with various shops and some restaurants that we saw as we drove past. Affordable stay and we do recommend. "
