"Had an issue at Checkin, we had tried to book a Dinner for our one night stay and didnt receive a reply that enabled us to reserve a table, on arrival i asked and was told basically, we had no chance as it was out of the hands of the front desk staff, he was incredibly cold, non emphatic and gave no other options or even seemed to care, its the 1st time we encountered this type of rudeness from a Hotel we have stayed in a few times over the last 5Yrs. "

"A great hotel in a great hotel. The room was fantastic and clean, as was the whole hotel. Parking was nice and easy. Breakfast was nice with a long time available to take it in. The bar menu was fairly light but decent enough for a small hotel in an area with lots of other food options. The staff were really, really lovely and no request or question was too much bother for them. This place is a perfect spot for a weekend in Calais"
