"Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! "I spent the most wonderful week at Little Lemhill Farm Cottage. The cottage is on a beautiful Cotswold farm, that is surrounded by beautiful gardens, trees and a pond. It's very quiet and relaxing. The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable, with the most heavenly beds and linens. Melanie is a wonderful, welcoming host, who provided a very helpful welcome book, chock full of great recommendations for restaurants and tips for the local areas. Her recommendations were spot on. "We stayed on the coldest week of November when snow was falling and outside temperatures were below 0°c, the landlord controls the heating via an app in the office, we complained over half a dozen times and it was Wednesday before they turned it on, we were sat watching telly in our jumpers, coats and hats. And they still turned it off again in the morning before the flat warmed up. We also bought food to cook in the oven, which doesn't work, again reported it and acknowledged by them, but no...

"Food great and great value - inc Breakfast and Dinner. But would have liked some lighter option alternatives - fruit or sea bass or salmon or omelette salad - due to advanced age!! Sorry! I had dined at Mr. White’s new Balham Restaurant back in the day! Room and Shower Room lovely and spacious. Parking easy. Bed and sleep good. Might have appreciated a bit of help with case given age! Staff really friendly and helpful. Decor and collection display of artifacts amazing and just my style!! Grounds might be a bit too trendily dishevelled but it appealed to me. Location brilliant for Bath, Cotswolds, innumerable “NT and other properties and visiting old friends still living in Cotswolds. Maybe a bit more info and recommendations on special and not so well known places to visit? "

Beautiful room, the most comfortable bed, pillows to die for, perfect textured towels and superb toiletries, with a great selection of teas and coffee pods! I slept like a baby! The breakfast was to delicious and again, great value for the quality of the produce! Plus, you couldn’t get more centre of town- wonderfully located- will definitely be staying again! "

"The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note. Best kept secret in the areas."

"Great place to stay extremely polite and helpful staff. Breakfast was a lovely experience too. If i had to find a minus point it would be no black out blinds or curtauns in the rooms so as soon as the sun came up the venetian blinds hid nothing, but im just clutching at straws here. Great base for our Cotswolds weekend. Thank you Cricklade House!"
