The fact that you could park right at your door was great for loading and uploading your vehicle. We had two chairs right outside our door that we used quite a lot. We enjoyed stay.

We’ve stayed here at least 10 times and the lady that runs it is very accommodating. It’s an old motel but she keeps everything working and very clean

The property looked a little dated from the road, but the room I stayed in was nicely done and clean, although a little on the small side. The manager was nice, and very friendly.

Small town. Diner not good for breakfast. No other choices. Room humid even with AC. Didn’t expect room service for cleaning but additional trash bag would have been nice. Only one trash can in room. Was quiet

I absolutely loved this place, and it's manager, April! The room had everything we needed, with coooold air conditioning. The area surrounding the motel was just peaceful! They have a fire pit and everything! If I go through Windsor again, I will definitely be stopping there, even if it's just for a hug!

I had a great time while staying here. The room was lovely as was the overall feel. Great grounds & a peaceful surroundings. Very relaxing. I hope to come back soon.

Most disappointing, the bed sheets never got changed, never got new towels, non existent room service. I left a day early, called them twice to make sure it was allowable and they said it was no problem. Fast foward to today they are now denying my refund. Awful. Do not recommend

I am a longtime budget traveler (not by choice, of course) and for recent years have been dismayed by the deteriorating cleanliness and service at the budget chains. So I decided to try the Windsor, which was 20 miles further on from Sedalia, where all the usual budget chains were. I was wonderfully pleased and surprised. Very very clean. Only about 20 rooms and i forgot how convenient it is to have the car parked right outside and not have to traipse across a lot. Has microwave, frig,, remote TV with plenty of channels etc. So pleased to have actual staff smiling and helpful and not looking like they are under siege! Nice little town that has a couple restaurants. I was stunned to see they even have a hospital (I am in the biz and notice these things.) Room might be a little smaller than common nowadays but well worth the stay. I am inspired to try more independent because the budget chains are just getting gross!!

The young lady was great. Moved my room before I even got into the original 1. Carpet wasn't dry enough after being shampooed. So she set me up with a dt room. Was clean, great a/c. Would definitely stay again

So-so stay
It was neat and tidy but tub was sticky and not clean and the shower curtain was dirty. I had a water bottle that spilled over, so used a hand towel to dry it up from the carpet. The hand towel was so filthy I wore my slip on shoes the whole time except in bed. When we left, someone who was collecting trash, left it laying on the rocks, spilled out. They are hiring housekeepers. They need help!

Exactly What I Needed
The Crossroads is great. I biked the Rock Island Trail about 50 miles down from Pleasant Hill and enjoyed a very pleasant evening in Windsor. I was greeted by first name at the front desk and quickly checked into a quaint, quiet, cool, very inexpensive room. It was just the basics (small, super clean, great mattress, good TV with a solid cable package) but after 50 miles on the bike, that's all I needed. I walked to a Chinese restaurant and got some ice cream at Sonic on the way back to my room. I slept very soundly and biked back home the next day. This hotel was exactly what I needed.

Great service at check in, especially since we arrived so late. She gave us water, etc and the motel offered a hose and towels to dry our bike off with. The room was very clean. I would stay here again.

I'm sorry you felt sheisted, but our checkout policy is clearly posted. Check-out is 11:00 a.m. and late checkouts will be charged $30+ tax if not approved in advance.

Our checkout policy is clearly posted. As mentioned in my response to your review on the 14th. Since my manager had to wake you 2 hours past checkout you were charged a late checkout fee

Great Katy Trail stay
Great place , great price, great location when biking the Katy Trail. Owners are super accommodating. Even offered to drive us to the pool if we wanted. And you don’t need to bring your own towels. They furnish it all.
