"Very lovely stay again. It was a cold, rainy night and defrosting in front of the fireplace and having a warm soak in the large tub made for a welcome start to an enjoyable evening and night. The bathroom is beautiful and spacious and has the feel of a

"Don't expect anything more than the minimum if you stay at this property. The front desk was unstaffed when I arrived, and the he lobby was dark and uninviting. The room itself was spacious, but there were stains and paint scrapes throughout. The bed linens were scratchy. No clock in the room. Bonus point however for a shower with water pressure and hot water. The restaurant was staffed by a single person, and the menu itself was underwhelming for the price. "Hotel DuPont always exceeds my expectations. If you are looking for a place in Wilmington, don’t bother looking around, checking out prices on the river or other places, just pick this hotel. You won’t regret your decision. The staff is wonderful, Kara especially. They have deep soaking tubs for two in some rooms and they are worth the upgrade and you feel at home there. "
