You could tell it was older because the furniture was marked up badly and the toilet in the main bedroom seemed to have either been replaced or eill at some point fall through the floor. Even walking by it you would hear it hit the wall and move. Overall it was a very nice stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. "

"What a treat to get to stay in a historic building in Colonial Williamsburg! Our room at the old tavern was very comfortable and we loved taking our morning cup of coffee out to the back porch and then walking through the still streets. In addition, the staff at the Williamsburg Inn went above and beyond for us during our stay. When we discovered that the rental car wouldn’t start in the morning, the check-in staff sprang into action. Our bags were tucked in a secure place and they drove us to make sure my daughter made it to her interview. Then, when the tow truck still hadn’t arrived two hours later, Adrian kindly drove over to our vehicle and with a little help from YouTube we were able to restart the car. Everyone on the staff was so kind and helpful! Thank you!"
