Good location, grumpy motel manager

The motel was more modern than most wildwood motels. Overall, very clean and the maid service was friendly. However, the room smelled like mold. There were dryer sheets hanging from the vents. Lastly, the hotel manager was grumpy. I hate to write anything negative about people because I am also in customer service and try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But in the 5 days we were there, she was grumpy all those days!

The location is great - right on the beach - and it was nice to have a full bedroom plus the pull-out and a kitchenette. That said, the lack of anything but a single towel rack surprised me - after all, everyone has wet items to manage while at the beach. I am not sure how different the rooms are, but in ours, it felt like the furniture was jammed in and purchased one piece at a time rather than planned to fit the space or look good together.

Front desk unfriendly. Never smiled once. Housekeeper walked into my unit. I had my do not disturb sign on my door handle. Room was very dusty. AC went in & out. Loved the room size & that it had a kitchen. Staff needs to be more friendly & housekeeping shouldn't just walk in your room without knocking first. I was getting up to answer the door& he was walking right in. Property itself was beautiful & quiet.

very clean and beautiful apartment but we had a leak in the ceiling from the AC unit since the day we checked in, we reported it and was never fixed, management didn’t even seem to care, a piece of fake ceiling fell on the kitchen (luckily the kids were not around) it was replaced and then it got wet again and fell a second time. we had that situation the 4 days of our staying and weren’t offered a discount, an apology, and not even extra towels to clean the mess it was causing (even thou i asked for extra towels several time), the front desk lady was racist, but her staff was very kind and friendly. if she gives you room 103 don’t take it unless the leak in the kitchen is fixed.

Charming motel right on the beach. This is not a new property, but the people are friendly, it has a pool, and games. My room had a full refrigerator, microwave, kitchen and separate suite area. A good value. The woman who is at the front (owner?) is very knowledgeable about the area.

Our stay

First night we checked in a/c didn't work..sweat all night..in morning maintenance came found breakers turned off..fixed after that...stay not bad...lots of rules restrictions for all guests..noice.. sitting outside..etc.. had 8 guests..all beds full..slept on pull out couch (sucked)...keep in mind all units are condos and individually rented out...desk clerk was nice....place needs to be modernized. Traveled with wheelchair bound parent .no ramps..no ada showers..no ada handicap accessible anything .had to carry her up 2 steps from parking area and had ground floor room..( 2 bdrm kitchenette)..would probably more recommend for older people more than younger family with children...not ada compliant at all..but keep in mind..all individually owned units..access to beach area.. perfect...not to far from activity etc.. over all was enjoyable

Perfect seaside motel for a chill weekend

This little Motel is a gem! The rooms are nice and clean with brilliant views of the ocean. the kitchenette was well stocked and everything worked as expected, I made use of it to cook some local scallops. I loved my time there and can't recommend it enough.

We LOVE staying here. We've stayed here over 20 years. LOVE being right on the ocean & their pool is heated so you can enjoy it into the fall. We used to go with a bigger group which we miss but also enjoy our smaller group now. Just so much fun together. So many wonderful memories!

Our room was spacious and clean. There are actually several rooms. You enter into a family room with a sturdy table and chairs, a sofa and the only TV. The bedroom has a door and two double beds. Mattresses were not as comfortable as most hotel/motels. On the plus side, there's a kitchenette with full size fridge, small microwave, sink and dishes/silverware. The bathroom is very small and we had to cover the window above the shower since it faced the window in another building and was clear glass. The staff was very nice. No hairdryer, ironing board, iron or shampoo/conditioner. One of the staff loaned us her own hairdryer! As I said, nice people. Easy walking distance to the shore, which has a huge sandy area that's kept clean.

Nice place except for management

We had two bedrooms, 3 beds plus pullout sofa, so room was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with plates and utensils and clean. Grandchildren enjoyed the pool, except closing at 8:30 seemed pretty early for a vacation spot. Pool staff, housekeeping and front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. I would have gladly given this location a 4 - 4.5 rating except the manager was miserable. I heard her yell at kids, chewed out an employee right out where anyone could hear and really quite cold when you asked a question or requested something. I probably would consider returning if we needed that big of a room but if I could get by any place else I would not.

I booked a 3 night stay through Expedia only to find out I didn't have a reservation when I arrived. The management team was able to make changes to accommodate us despite a very full hotel.

Blinds hanging on the large picture window that looks onto the sidewalk outside were broken. We had to hang a sheet up. 3 different places in side there were lightbulbs out. The room is underneath cement steps so there was no electronic communication at all. You had to step out into the road and then keep moving around till it connected. We were told that each room is individually owned. So the owners know all these things are broke and won’t do the repairs. We won’t be back

Large spacious room with kitchen & full refrigerator. Bedroom with 2 beds plus a pull out couch. Manager was always around & very nice, she even offered us some birthday cake! Beach is literally right there & has a volleyball court as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Property was nice and we had a nice room. Wifi kept going out thought. Keys didn't work very well in the door. My daughter took the keys back when we were leaving and the lady at the front desk made a comment to her "So how many people did you really have in the room". We took offense at this as we were attending a Wedding in the area and asked for extra towels. We are of retirement age and I assure you we had no other people than the 5 we reserved for in our room. We took this very offensively when my daughter told us this and I really felt like turning around and confronting the desk clerk.
