"Hotel really needs some updating hence only 4 stars. That said, rooms are good size, air con and quiet location.. only bug bear... put a socket near the bed for phone charging please!"

"The meals on offer were fantastic. The staff were helpful and polite. Although the room we stayed in was clean, spacious and convenient to get to, the location wasn't the best. Room 100 was located on the ground floor not far from the bar/ entertainment area, so we could hear the clanging of glass ware. Also, the constant light from the corridor was a bother for my husband. I must add, there was a football goal outside our window which was distracting. Apart from those things, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"Lovely quiet location overlooking pedestrianised New Walk and very central, close to town and university. Very efficient and helpful staff. Room very comfortable and well appointed and whole building well adapted from original row of 19th century houses. Good onsite parking too. Looking forward to next stay."
