"The kids had a blast! Great staff, always happy to chat and help. Beautiful setting and surrounds, we absolutely loved our bushwalking in this area. Breathtaking flora and fauna. A wonderful trip back in time where kids can be kids and families can truly relax. The accommodation was old and run down - the 3 air con units wouldn't suffice in Summer. The place needs a massive cash injection but I wouldn't see that happening anytime soon. Very, very expensive cabin rate for what it is. Understand why. Thanks for a comfortable stay all the same and lots of fun."

"We stayed for 3 nights in total and we loved it. The manager was fantastic, quickest and easiest check-in ever! The room was lovely, bright and clean. We had a dog friendly room on the ground floor which had a patio door accessing a lovely grassed area for the dogs to play. Our only critique would be the scent in the room which we found slightly overpowering. We loved the local Canoe Point off leash dog beach and were so impressed by the surrounding amenities. Gladstone marina was another delightful surprise and the Auckland House restaurant was a great recommendation."
