"A very pleasant surprise is my reaction to the Balanced Rock Inn. Property is clean and the staff is very kind. The Inn has a hostel feel to it, which I liked. The rooms are clean and accomodating with a very nice updated bathroom and amenities. The only slight issue is the bedding that is all polyester. I broght my sleeping bag and my own pillows as a regular precaution when I travel and those came in handy. Cotton sheets would be a plus but understand the reasoning behind polyester for durability. I would gladly recomend this place to stay!"

"I paid on hotels.com then when I checked in they charged me again. I filled out the pre-check in information online. When I checked in they asked for the same information all over again. Apparently they do not know what the pre-check in is or how to access it. The safe was locked when I checked in. I asked for it to be unlocked so I could use it. This request was ignored. The hotel is very dated and the staff is not on top of it. I will not be using this property again. "

"This hotel is right next to the highway, but it does not seem to be an issue as the rooms look over the pool or towards town. The only issue we had was that the breakfast room is quite small for the size of the hotel. Staff was great and we enjoyed out time there."
