"Location is convenient as it is close to the Carlsbad caverns, but it is about 15 to 20 minutes away from Carlsbad itself. The property itself is in need of renovation. It is pretty old and somewhat rundown. The televisions have no signal or very poor signal overall. The continental breakfast consists of a muffin or cereal. Our room was not cleaned during our stay."

"Stayed 2 nights - room key card reader didn't work, so person at desk had to let us in our room each time. They willingly did, but that was inconvenient for us and the employee. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty when we arrived. Breakfast was fresh. Staff provided restaurant and Caverns info."

"Parking was not the best, bed was hard, rooms are dated and water damaged. "

"We had an end room and it was creaking like crazy due to the wind. It was so bad it kept us up. It sounded like a hurricane outside. The issue is that when we complain to the staff, they knew about it. They told us they had a lot of complaints about that. It makes no sense if if they knew about it why would they put us in a bad room where you can hear the wind and the walls are creaking. "

"The breakfast menu was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a hotel, my family loved it, I loved it and our room was amazing! The staff was all friendly unfortunately the pool is not heated but my kids still had a great time even in the middle of March it was still warm enough during the day to swim"
