Das Hotel liegt ideal am Altstadt-Grüngürtelring, und bietet kurze Wege in die Altstadt. Am Hotel selbst gibt es 6-7 kostenfreie Parkplätze (abhängig von der Rücksichtnahme und Parkkunst der Gäste) , gegenüber auch nochmal 6-8 und in der benachbarten Tiefgarage der Stadthalle jede Menge :-) für einen akzeptablen Preis von 7,50 für 24 Stunden. Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant/Frühstücksraum war freundlich und umsichtig, auch unsere Raumpflegerin hat sich toll gekümmert.
Das Hotel bzw korrekt formuliert das Gebäude erhält trotzdem nur 3 Punkte, da nicht klimatisiert und mit so wenig Fenstern und Lüftungsmöglichkeiten in den Fluren versehen, dass es im Sommer zur Backstube mutiert. Eventuell sind die Zimmer auf der Westseite mit den großen Balkontüren besser zu kühlen, wir hatten ein Zimmer auf der Ostseite. Das Fenster konnten wir zum Glück die ganze Nacht geöffnet lassen, da nur wenig Verkehr in der Nachbarschaft stört. Aber kühl wurde es erst in den frühen Morgenstunden vorm Sonnenaufgang.
