This is by far one of the best bed and breakfasts we have been to. Such an amazing welcome and the owners go above and beyond to make your stay special. The breakfasts are fantastic and fresh and delicious! Wonderful and beautiful grounds to take pictures of and just admire. Such a quaint old town. Extremely charming.
Can’t wait to return for another visit!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Silas Robbins House. As a fan of the Regency/Victorian era, I felt completely taken back to that time with the decor of every room. There's even a ball room! Our host, Dimitri, was very knowledgeable, helpful, considerate and welcoming. We stayed in the Cupids and Roses room which was very large and comfortable. The shower was huge and everything was very clean, on top of being beautiful. The breakfast served the next morning was very delicious and fresh. We will definitely stay there again!
We were blown away with this property and the whole experience. Our company specializes in high end historical restoration and the Silas W Robbins House was perfection. Historically correct and not frumpy at the same time. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfy. Breakfast was a full meal elegantly presented.
My wife and I loved this place. As we pulled up her mouth dropped and she instantly started to take pictures. Beautiful house and friendly staff. Great restaurant (The Charles) walking distance away.
Our stay was amazing! The inn was so clean and made us feel very safe during these Covid-19 times. Olga was so welcoming and made us feel like we were home not to mention she made us the most wonderful breakfast!
We were shocked at how beautiful this house is. Dmitri is an amazing host and we couldn't get over the delicious breakfast he made and served for us! Every detail on this house is perfect. This is by far the best B&B I've ever stayed in. Definitely worth every penny spent. And you should take a walk around the neighborhood and see the homes, many of which were built in the 1700's. A lot of history in this house and the neighborhood. Highly recommended!
This is an exceptional, well maintained property. If you like to be pampered with attention to detail in an old world environment, this place is for you. Highly recommended.
The house and the garden were just amazing and we did not have to go anywhere else just relaxed in the porch and sat in our room that’s facing the front and side garden. The owners who welcomed us and prepared breakfast were one of the nicest people you can meet. The breakfast was great too.
Beautiful place, everything was decorated and maintained perfectly. The breakfast was exceptional both in presentation and taste. Slowest internet connection that I've had in decades.
Quite honestly the most beautiful place we have ever stayed at. The history behind the home is enough to have you captivated. The staff and breakfast are phenomenal!! They handled all of our requests with ease and coming and going was so easy. 5 ⭐️
It is a beautiful historic house. The innkeepers are friendly and cheerful. The food was delicious. The room was nicely appointed. The bed could have suited me better but these things are a matter of preference. The quality of the bed and all the appointments was excellent.
This is a remarkable property as it was fully restored to 19th century appearance in 1996-2002 with modern amenities like air conditioning so beautiful and comfortable. The owners went out of their way to make a welcoming stay.
It is a gorgeously restored and meticulously maintained historic property. The rooms are comfortable, serene, and beautifully decorated. The food is delicious and plentiful. The home sits across from a green at the heart of historic Wethersfield. I recommend the property without reservation.
