Stacie at front desk was fantastic! Walls and ceilings are Paperthin, but our neighbors were pretty quiet, so we had a pretty good nights sleep!!! Overpriced for what you get, but very good location!!

I waited 30 mins to finally get checked into my room for one. The guy at the front desk stepped away and left a phone number to call but he never answered. When he did finally showed up he couldn't find my reservation, I had to get on his computer and pull it up to show him I had booked a room and paid for it. When I got in the room it was freezing cold and the heater was broken. It was supposed to be a single queen bed and instead I got two fulls. I most defiantly was not happy with my stay here.

The staff is great! We weren’t getting to town until a little later in the day. I called and asked if that was going to be ok and they had no problem waiting for us.

Had a fishing trip for 9 17 2019 made reservations for 9 16 2019 fishing was cancelled due to weather tried to cancel room could never get a hold of manager to cancell left messages and tried calling for 2 days very disappointed 3 hour drive from where we was at never use hotels.com again

It was really rundown, dirty, extra small room and hot (67° outside) even with the heat off, window open and fan on. The view was stationary boats and front street of town. Way too expensive for what you get. We left without spending the night. No refunds given.

They need to be a lot cheaper for the lack of service they provide. We took out our own garbage, exchanged our own towels. No air conditioning instead they give you a fan and the big window didn’t have a screen so bugs got in.

The property is severly run down. Broken parking lot and overgrown shrubery with cigerette butts everywhere. Our bathroom door fell off but maintenance did come and fix it within an hour.

We paid for early check in and our room wasn't ready. We didn't get in our room until 2:30 pm. That night i coud hear the guy above us snoring and people talking outside. We will not stay here again.

We do not charge for early check-ins. Check in is at 3pm, however we will allow guests to check in early for free before 3pm if the room has already been serviced by housekeeping.

Very disappointing. Grounds were horrible, the room was awful. I had dog hair on my sheets, the bathroom was gross (there was even a toilet plunger, who does that) The patio was closed, the restaurant and bar were closed indefinitely. No refunds, I know why now. It was so bad I checked out the next day and ate $189.00 The ONLY good thing was the view. Beware: when you make your reservation it is for 1 person onIy and there is an addition $12.00 per person/per night charge. I would not recommend when there are much nicer hotels in the vicinity.

The property is in a great location and some rooms have really nice views. Unfortunately, their restaurant and bar are closed, which would have been a good amenity. My biggest problem was being woken up at 1 am by the people in the room above me having a loud conversation that sounded like it was happening in my own room. There is no overnight staff at the motel, so no one to intervene. I ended up blasting my tv to try to drown them out, which would have been terrible if I’d had people in the rooms beside me. They talked and partied the whole night. So I can’t recommend the place, although it has so much potential. But it desperately needs a $$$ renovation.

Very pricey for the co condition of the hotel The area is great, people in town were very friendly can walk to everything near to hotel. Can rent crab train & fishing gear around the corner or Chevron. As you come in.

Staff canceled my reservation without notice< ifound this out at check-in. Was happy they did. Property is run down and in disrepair. This motel was once the Gem of Westport lodging, not anymore. Ad photos are from many years ago.

It was a nice convenient place to stay close to our fishing trip departure point the following day. Only drawback was the broken thermostat in room 122. Temperature was set at 80 and couldn't be changed.

For me, this motel was a bad value/overpriced. The building is poorly maintained - and I'm unclear why. The first thing guests see upon arrival is a dining room chair with a "no parking" sign strapped to it. There's material from the shuttered restaurant in plain view. The blinds that should have provided privacy into our room were damaged allowing anyone to see inside from the common walkway. Those are examples of things I believe the management could address IMMEDIATELY. In my view, that they aren't addressed represents management's low standards and low regard for its guests. If travelers have a reason to visit Westport and be near the marina, then I understand why they might choose this motel. HOWEVER, my family could have spent our weekend ANYWHERE else - and we wish we would have. Finally, not only does the property management comment on honest customer reviews with an inappropriate, snarky attitude (Posted on Expedia: "Thanks 'anonymous' for your review")... but it also reviews itself! (Posted on Google: "I'm a bit partial but in my opinion it's the best spot on the Marina!!") Gross!!! Don't do that, Stacy! So tacky!

It's barely okay.
BBQ grill? Like no, this is not a BBQ grill I don't know how this makeshift grill came about, but it needs to be thrown out and they should not be advertising that they have a grill. The owner indicated he got 3 complaints and was rushing us with our food. People were calling saying the couldn't sleep. Mind you its memorial day weekend and barely 9pm. The owner also doesn't speak efficient English and there was no translator available to help us with communicating, so I would say something and just hope that he understood, but couldn't be sure. We traveled with several kids and got three rooms, and people were complaining that the kids were being too loud, in the middle of the day. So we felt compelled to tell our children not to talk to loud or walk to hard...or have any fun so to speak. This place is also just old and run down in general. There is a receptionist that was there earlier in the day when we checked in, she was delightful and welcoming, but other than that I don't have anything positive to say about this place. We definitely won't be returning.

Old school hotel, no glitz or glamour. But where it lacks in amenities, it makes up for on location. Hotel sits right on the Westport Marina and the bay. Everything is right there. Restaurants. Beaches. Nice path along the beach. Pleanty of things to do or just relax and listen to the waves. Enjoy!

The location was great, within walking of the harbor and dining. The online pictures need updating. The garden view is of a grassy area behind rooms and the rental cottages. The room had a nice sized refrigerator and microwave in it but if you like coffee, ask for extra when you check in. The people were very nice and it was super quiet. All in all, was okay but over priced for amenities and condition. Could use a refresh inside and out.

Very friendly staff! Older motel, great if on a tight budget. Beds were horrible, very old uncomfortable. Noisy, heard everything from upstairs room and outside. Was only there for a fishing trip. Definitely will pay more next time for a better stay.

It was a great stay overall. It's a run down hotel that isn't worth the amount they are charging to stay there. With that being said, if you're into eclectic and antique please do stay here. You couldn't ask for a better view of the ocean and the marina.

Very friendly staff. However there were a few odd details we noticed about our room. I'll blame it on lack of staffing in general. 1. There was food left in the microwave. That food must have been from the people before us because it wasn't ours. 2. There was a coffee pot, but no coffee packets...odd. 3. The bathroom (and especially the tub) was super outdated. We decided to wear sandals in the shower after seeing it.

Really great location and the room was okay for the price. The carpet needs to be replaced but they allow dogs which is much appreciated. The walls are paper thin and there were people partying until after midnight so the evening wasn't very relaxing.
