Great staff, man that booked us in was very helpful, he seemed to be doing lots of jobs like cooking and serving breakfast which was very nice.

We enjoyed our stay it was a little basic but it was clean and good enough for the long weekend we didn't however have any house keeping we had to ask for toilet rolls but having said that we would go there again

We stayed for one night in a pleasant room. Lovely hot water in basic bathroom. Polite staff. No vegetarian sausages or similar. Only white toast

Beautiful sea view

The hotel is in an amazing location with lovely sea views from the dining room, our room was small and a little rundown but clean. Fresh sheets and towels. Pillows were a bit flat and bed a bit lumpy and bouncy but overall we enjoyed our stay and loved the breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff. We will return

Our Stay in Weston.

Our Stay in Weston at Hotel was ok.their was 2 Things that i didnt like i think it Needs to be a Bit updated and Modernise and the lift to our room which was on the Top Floor was a Bit Wobbly.i did like though the Comfort of the Bed.

Great deal

Great Little find. Not the poshest but had the essentials. Room a little dated but the staff were friendly and helpful. Shower amazing and had a bath in too. Breakfast included in the price and on site parking which is great for Weston-super-Mare

Great Stay

Very enjoyable stay. The hosts couldn't do enough for us, from providing us with a takeaway cup of tea whilst waiting to check in, to swapping rooms for us. The hotel was well situated and a bus stop just down the road. The breakfast was delicious, piping hot and hot plates too which is a rarity. Another great idea was putting your room number & mobile number in your car windscreen, so you could contact the relevant person to move their car if you were blocked in. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Good location, very short walk to town and beach. The hotel is badly managed and no attention has been taken to improve the facilities. Only one person there has an idea on what is required, and that is not the management.

Excellent weekend away at New Birchfield Hotel

Friendly and warm welcome. Very helpful staff throughout stay. Nothing was too much trouble. J.D is a very valuable asset to the hotel. Clean and tidy room. Ideal base for our weekend away with my children. Great location opposite the marina. Car park was a very welcome amenity. Excellent breakfast both mornings. Very pleased overall and would definitely stay again in the future if visiting Weston in the future.

Paid too much

Room was too small for what we paid. Breakfast was good but we couldn’t bring our dog in with us, and as we had to pay an extra £20 for her I would of liked somewhere to go with her so we could eat together, definitely not worth the money but would stay again only at a much reduced rate.

Did not get any parking, so had to walk about 10mins up the road. The lift was a nice surprise. Room was ok. Bit hot in there and bathroom extractor could be a quiet inline type, which could pull cooler air into the room. Food was nice although I would have liked the tea available from the start of service. Friendly polite staff. I was hoping of a bit more of a sea view. Beach and area was really nice. 1st there and we had a lovely hot day and it was nice to eat our dinner outside.

Basic stay

Check in went well. Breakfadt was a decent size and good variety on offer. However things took a turn for the worst when the shower didnt drain, had to get our mid shower for staff to pour drain cleaner down. Returned to shower and it filled even more leaving me trapped in the shower as was unable to opem shower doors due to over flooding. Staff only offereed to go up 2 more levels to shower however this was inconvenient due to being mid shower. Unable to raise wjth staff again on departure as no one was to be seen.

Ok. Good & bad points

Location ✔️ helpful staff ✔️ free parking ✔️ free yummy breakfast ✔️ lift ✔️ power shower ✔️however, this was a dog friendly stay whereby the windows opened 1ft from the floor and we were on 4th floor which meant we had to have the window permanently closed on a 25 degree day in a 8’ x 8’ room - stifling.. had to spend as much time out the room as poss… room was tiny, dust and hairs in carpet around skirting, bed was sooo loud & squeaky, kettle didn’t reach table top and was corded so had to make tea on floor.. all in all an ‘ok’ stay but wouldn’t return, WSM tho was amazing. Def recommend Michaelangelos 5* food service and atmosphere.
