We loved our stay at Huyze Fox. It was great to have use of the pool and sauna facilities, and to enjoy the peaceful retreat, amongst small wooden gardens, after days in the busy centre of Bruges. Complimentary bikes made it easy to get into the centre of the city in no time - all on dedicated cycle paths.

An amazing place hidden away just outside of the nearby town. Dietmar the host works really hard to ensure that your stay is excellent. The location and gardens are nice and the purpose built B&B is designed and furnished to a first class standard.

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lady who helped us with our bags and made us feel incredibly welcomed. She began to tell us about the history of the hotel and show us some of its rooms which were absolutely stunning due to the new owners redesigning from top to bottom. We loved the garden which is unique to a city hotel. Very airey and spacious hotel, with different areas to relax. Part of the hotel has a museum collection for World War 1, which is very interesting. Staff very attentive and pleasant.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful and the decorations for Christmas were stunning. We loved spending time in the lounge area by the fire, the breakfast was very tasty and the hotel is in the perfect location. Would highly recommend. Cannot think of one flaw and I've stayed at hotels all over the world. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location, only to be matched by the warmth of the hotel staff and the character of the rooms. Brilliant Christmas stay, great staff

For us this was a perfect stay, such a treat. The hotel is spotless, the decor faultless and the bed was the most comfortable we've ever stayed away from home in. My husband had the all clear from cancer the week before and was given the thumbs up to travel so we needed a quiet break and this hotel ticked all the boxes. Location was excellent right in the heart of Bruges. Room was first class, clean spacious and very comfortable. Fantastic view over the square. Staff encountered were all helpful and polite. One of the best hotel stays we have ever had. Great job.

Fabulous place to stay. We were in the newer part of the hotel -- possibly a new building, or a refurbished old one -- but it had been thoughtfully designed and beautifully put together. The walkway to get there went outside, and was only partially covered -- so you might get wet in the rain, although I noticed a stack of umbrellas at reception! Everything else was amazing. Easily the best small boutique hotel we’ve stayed at. Central location, beautiful decor, best breakfast ever! All in all a fantastic hotel. Be prepared for smaller rooms in Bruges. It’s part of the ‘old world’ charm. Our room was a Comfort Plus room and was perfectly adequate. Would stay here again in a heart beat!!!

What a find! This hotel is small and cosy and ideally situated with just a 5 minute walk from the main market square. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast had a good range with fresh pastries, continental range and also full English, and even champagne which was a lovely touch. The room was very stylish with all the facilities you require including a jacuzzi bath. The car park is also an added bonus (although you have to book in advance). We drove to Brugge from Canterbury. We used the sat nav to find our hotel. Unfortunately, there were roadworks on the street leading to the hotel. The sat nav was confused which meant we drove round in circles for quite a while. Eventually I rang the hotel. The hotel manager came to meet us. He took the wheel and drove us to the hotel.
