The hotel is right by the station which is very handy for a multi centre holiday and it is very central for everything you may want to do in Bern. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The roof terrace is beautiful and the rooms are really well equipped really comfy beds and brilliant showers. We didn’t eat at the restaurant so can’t comment on that, breakfast was 40 chf per head which seemed a lot so we used local cafes instead. Hotel Victoria is around a 3 minute walk from Glion station (cog train from Montreux train station which takes around 12 mins). Stunning views from our lakeside room. Room 3 has an interconnecting door to Room 2 and is not particularly well soundproofed. Due to health issues with our neighbour, little sleep was had on the first night. I loved my stay here the staff were very pleasant and kind.

Really nice hotel in a great location, don't fool yourself into thinking you can walk there with you case from the station though - It's not far but it's a massive hill. The staff throughout could not be more helpful and friendly, they really make the stay. The only thing is that it is very expensive, breakfast is CHF40 and diner at any of the hotel's restaurants is very expensive (but also very nice!!). There are plenty of good alternatives within an easy walk though. I would highly recommend...

Beautiful hotel, great service and a wonderful breakfast which was the highlight of the stay for us. The only issue was the outside area by the pool, they need to have someone continually there to clear up, this was one of the first impressions I had of the hotel, towels and used glasses everywhere. That said, this is a beautiful 5 star hotel with lots of extras and the price was worth this level of luxury.

Upon arrival at the hotel the reception staff were welcoming and this made for a lovely entrance to our break away. The team members were wonderfully helpful throughout our stay and really strived to make us have a special experience within the hotel. The restaurant staff were equally good and really went the extra mile to make our time eating very special.
