Very well kept and well preserved period property in bethel. Delightful hosts John and Jeanette made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them to endure our stay was perfect. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Bethel ME

Great location & a lovely, historic house. Amy & Mark were welcoming, friendly & discrete (the house was peaceful). Very comfortable room. Breakfast was a real treat - beginning with home made pastries. Private parking adjacent to the property. All in all, a superb bed & breakfast.

Lovely welcome at reception. Really nice large room. Lovely meal in restaurant and amazing cocktails in the bar!

An absolutely fabulous stay at the Old Saco Inn. Peter and Sandi were the perfect hosts and we had a thoroughly enjoyably evening with them and a few other guests in the on-site pub. Breakfast was fantastic and the house is set in beautiful surroundings and we made the most of the free canoes and kayaks - taking a row down the river on arrival.

Wow. This inn is all about the past but with a modern, friendly approach. The building is very old and the furnishings in the communal areas are in-keeping with the building. The owners and the La staff (Mary, John and Christina) are just amazing and cannot do enough to ensure that your stay is the best it can be. The bedroom was comfortable. We only stayed one night but would definitely have liked to stay longer. The staff were lovely and our room was clean and comfortable. We ate in the hotel and, despite a longer than usual wait, the meal was very tasty. The help yourself pantry was well stocked but, as a food allergy sufferer, I would have appreciated an allergen list to refer to. Quiet area with plenty of parking.

Lovely hotel for a one night stay during our roadtrip. Unfortunately we were too early for the fall colours - but I can imagine they are spectacular from this hotel. Lovely touches at this hotel but be sure to book ahead for breakfast and dinner as they book up fast!! Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool due to bad weather. The hot tub looked a bit tired. Good breakfast but not a buffet.

Rustic but everything we needed was available. Host was very friendly.
