Incredible all round experience! The communication thoughout our stay made everything so easy and enjoyable, brilliant hosts! The property is immaculate, every detail was considered and top notch! Our room was probably the best room I've ever stayed in! Would move in permanently!

I would stay in our original accommodation but I found it small so we upgraded to a room with a king bed and fireplace. Glad we did. It was amazing. The views are fantastic on a clear day. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

We only had an opportunity to stay one night stay but overall had a very pleasant experience. The room was really nice apart from the wierd location of the television . The bar was "like a real bar " and the lady serving was great ( as was the live entertainment ). Our dining experience has room for improvement although the staff were really nice . This place is a little gem. Whilst the building retains it's original character, the rooms are modern and very comfortable. Although small, they had everything we needed. The property was very clean with good quality bedding and towels. Breakfast was three freshly cooked courses unlike anything available in most hotels. Compliments to the chef / owners!

Efficient welcoming staff. Nice pool, warm with plenty of seats and towels. Some of the public spaces were a bit tired, nothing that some new carpets and a coat of paint wouldn't cure. Room was fine. Excellent wifi and mobile signals. Stayed early October 2015.

What a wonderful hotel, of our trip to New England, this was probably our biggest (wonderful) surprise. It's just a joyous place. The room was wonderful, the staff in the bar and restaurant were amazing and the location is just truly wonderful. The reception staff when we checked on, were professional, but very disimterested and were more interested in themselves and their chat, but, it was a minor irritation in a wonderful stay. Convenient stopover on our road trip. Large rooms and comfy beds. Great location just off the highway, yet quiet. Rooms were a little dated (decor), but good enough for a 1 night stay. Limited restaurant options nearby as we stayed on a Weds night (some places closed mid week). Overall good value for money.
