Very nice older property. Very close to entrance to GNP. Has an excellent restaurant attached to the hotel. Only issue is the noise from trains and highway. They provide ear plugs and sound machine.

Beautifully landscaped, great exterior appeal, old but well maintained. Room was extremely small, would like to see a full breakfast option in the restaurant, price was quite high considering the lack of amenities & room size.

Great historical place to disconnect; note there is no TV, AC, or cell service, but the wifi was great. Only issue was a broken toilet seat.

Very lovely chalet, takes you back in time. Beautiful grounds. Clean room and comfy bed. Helpful receptionist. I loved it, would recommend it highly.

The Belton Chalet is older and “rustic” I guess would be the word. I loved it….it was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Its out of the way and its quiet. No TV’s in the rooms but I thought it added to the charm. The staff was amazing and the manager Taylor got us passes to the Going to the Sun Road. It doesnt sound like a big deal perhaps….but the attention to detail and the fact that he remembered made our trip. The staff was great.

Cool building with lots of history. That said it has no updates- internet, television etc if that is important to you. It’s not that important to me however I don’t know if I missed the small print or just wasn’t told when I booked a small room for 1 night for over $200. When I checked in I was also charged an extra $16 for a National Park tax. Not sure if that is the chalet or Expedia for not telling me before Would probably stay again but now I know what to expect

Historic property and close to Glacier NP. Room was pleasant but relied heavily on its historical character and lacked a few facilities eg no where to hang or stack clothes.

I had sure a wonderful time. The rooms were nice and clean the staff was fantastic. If you ride Amtrak like I did it's right across the street from the station, and only a 3 mile hike to Apgar Visitor Center.

Sweet, "cozy" (ie: tiny) rooms and comfortable beds. You can hear everything around you but it's comforting. Haunted - which is kind of fun of you're into that stuff. Clean, and the restaurant is top notch but only open for dinner. There's a fantastic breakfast lunch place right next door though. Would definitely stay there again but suspect it's not air conditioned so not much past June.

Floor was so creaky throughout the building that it was hard to sleep. As well, it is on along a train track and the highway. That was not mentioned in the description. We got there and ear plugs were next to the bed. They were needed. Property was clean.

Very nice historic hotel, located a few minutes drive from the West Glacier Park entrance. The rooms are fairly small and there was no AC when we stayed there at the end of May. The room was hot and it was hard to sleep even with a fan on. Staff was nice and accommodating, running to the restaurant to get us ice when we asked for it and the ice machine was not working

Excellent staff!!! Love the property and view. Only downfall was the fact that if you are a light sleeper, you will be up about every hour or so with the sound of a train passing. At between 0600 & 0700 the Amtrak train is your alarm clock, giving you two whistle blows before it departs, sounding as though it were on the deck of the chalet, Please bring a nighttime noise machine, to keep your sanity. The Belton Chalet is an interesting and well maintained old structure. The staff is pleasant. Rooms are small and from a different era. Bed is comfortable. No elevator to the second floor.

This place is so charming at cute! We had a great stay. The only downside is the train is a bit noisy and you can hear some of the other guests however, they give you ear plugs which is really nice. I would totally stay hear again.

It’s a old and historical hotel, looks very quaint and well maintained. The continental breakfast is appreciated, the piano playing and fireplace crackling was very homey. But the Wi-Fi was real slow

Very interesting place to stay. A lot of history which was neat. Rooms were very clean. Walls and floors are thin so you can hear a lot of things going on. Continental breakfast could have been better. It was just dry muffins and coffee cake. The restaurant was amazing service and delicious!

Beautiful historic railroad hotel. We enjoyed the atmosphere and staff were excellent. Breakfast was small but adequate for us, nothing huge. Room was small but served the purpose well. Floors squeaked due to history of hotel which made us feel bad for anyone on first floor. Our room was facing rear of hotel, earplugs were supplied but we did not need them. The train sounds we’re not loud unless windows were open and were very enjoyable. Wi-Fi was really slow. No cell service except on front porch of hotel for us. At entrance to park, close to glacier village.
