"Sorry to say, the service at this property was really abysmal. Staff were not friendly at all (with the exception of one young lady). When we asked them for recommendations for best chicken rice in the area, they responded 'all the same, they're all good.' and when we asked them for directions to a certain area, they very were very snappy and said 'just take a taxi.' Mind you, there was no one else at the counter and no long lines. The cleaning staff were great though. One cleaner heard us asking and gave us a good recommendation for chicken rice, but our encounter with the counter service really did sour our experience overall. "

"Clean room. Value is outstanding. You can include breakfast, but we opted to eat at local places fo breakfast. Staff from front desk to maid service cleaning our room was excellent. Laundry facility was excellent. Front desk will make change and give you a detergent pod! This is our second stay in 10 years. Service actually seems better now, but it was good before. "

"The hotel was dated and a bit far from walking to the Chiayi Station. There was a large stain on the cushioned headboard and did not look good at all. The shower was located at a corner of the bathroom without enclosure or shower curtain, whenever we took shower, the entire bathroom including the cabinets, vanity top, toilet, etc was wet. Really strange design! Breakfast was good with many items. Staffs were friendly."
