"Overall, the hotel was decent. The room was clean and comfortable, and all of the staff were kind, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. The location is excellent and likely a major factor in the hotel's pricing. That said, the property feels dated and could benefit from some renovations. My shower drain was partially clogged, which was disappointing. For the price point, I also expected more in terms of room amenities than the basic mini bars of soap and lotion that were provided. The breakfast was another area that fell short. The offerings were largely the same each day—muffins, scrambled eggs, beans, and hash browns—with mini pancakes available on one morning. While the food was acceptable, the variety and quality did not align with what I would expect given the cost of the stay. Overall, the hotel has a lot going for it, particularly its location and staff. However, updating the rooms and enhancing the amenities and breakfast experience would make the price feel much more justified."

"I recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Halifax and had a very positive experience overall. The location is excellent—close to the waterfront, restaurants, and many local attractions. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. One area that could be improved is the fitness center. While functional, it could benefit from additional equipment and some modernization. The restaurant and bar area is spacious, comfortable, and inviting, but it seemed surprisingly quiet during my stay. It may be worth exploring ways to create a more vibrant atmosphere and attract more guests to enjoy the space. Overall, a great stay with excellent service, and I would happily return on my next visit to Halifax."
