"We enjoyed one night stay at this fantastic hotel looking like a small castle. The lobby and the dining room are particularly beautiful. Breakfast is really good. The room where we stayed is a bit small, but comfortable with air conditioning. Price is inexpensive with free parking. The hotel location is excellent: both Wernigerode Castle and the old town are quite close."

"Fantastic place. Not fancy, but clean, friendly and just a great stay! Restaurant closed Mondays, but a nearby restaurant "Klippe" took care of us:-) after dark, we had to figure out to use the side door with our key card, but got it to work. Breakfast was great, staff amazing. Ate at restaurant the next day and it was fabulous! Also- the 'conference room' area has an honorary system: take a snack, beer or wine and deposit some cash into a little piggy bank! Love it!!!!"
