"Spacious rooms, an excellent location and helpful staff. The pool and gym are great, and we hired a tennis court while there too. Excellent breakfast selection. Half board meals got very relative and rooms are very dated but overall we enjoyed our stay."

GOOD: - amazing breakfast - large rooms with balcony and mountain view - lot's of parking / garage and front of hotel - friendly stuff BAD: - if you like a coffee after breakfast the charges are extremely high (you get it from the same machine where you get your morning coffee for free) - charges in general for drinks are very high - they don't take American Express "

"The reception has limited staffed hours and if arriving outside those hours you must call to get access. Luckily, I had cellular service. The room we had was almost perfect! A kitchen/dining area with toaster oven and portable stove and with a door separating the bedrooms. The balcony has great views of the mountains as do the bedroom windows. My little one enjoyed having a bunk bed with her own door for privacy (and for the adults to stay up later was good too!). The lighting was a bit dark but...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Staudacher Hotel in Garmisch! The delicious breakfast each morning was the perfect start to our day, and we loved relaxing in the well-served bar each evening. Our balcony offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, making our stay even more memorable.
