"We stayed at the hotel over the Canada Day long weekend a d really enjoyed our stay. What I loved most is that they recently in 2025 changed out carpets in rooms and replaced it with wood looking laminate. It’s so much nicer looking and cleaner. It really makes the hotel look and feels modern and airy. And honestly carpets in general are distracting, impossible to clean properly and hold dust and smells. These floors are so much easier to clean and didn’t activate my dust allergies.
The staff were very friendly. There’s complimentary coffee, tea and lemon water in the lobby and in rooms.
They had complimentary breakfast. It was ok. Coffee and yogurt and cereals were good, but sausages and eggs- meh. I wouldn’t eat it- not real eggs and sausages were way too salty. But they did had greek yoghurt and hard boiled eggs available, and raison bran cereal. So worked for us. Bacon one day was good too.
I would stay here again. Very conveniently located.
The only other thing was the noisy air conditioner/ heater that exist in older hotels. We unplugged it bc it was too noisy. Reco to the hotel to modernise that. "
