However, upon reaching the hotel, the reception staff informed me that they had received only a room-only booking from Expedia and that breakfast was not included. I was told that if I wanted breakfast, I would have to pay separately. Left with no alternative, I was forced to pay again for breakfast for both days, in addition to the room charges already paid through Expedia. This situation was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I am deeply disappointed with this experience and would like a clear explanation on whether this issue was caused by Expedia’s booking system or the hotel’s mismanagement. Regardless, as the booking was made through your platform, I hold Expedia responsible for ensuring that the services shown at the time of booking are honored.
