"A peaceful nature retreat with incredible fresh food. Our stay at Kaluโ€™s Hideaway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We loved the wholesome farm-to-table diningโ€”tasting fresh red dragon fruit straight from the garden, sweet pineapples, mangos, and delicious Sri Lankan vegetables. The property itself is surrounded by nature. The butterfly garden was an unexpected treat, and waking up to the tranquil morning sounds of birds overlooking the Udawalawe reserve canopy was magical. You can even spot local wildlife right on the grounds, from vibrant water lilies in the ponds to land monitor lizards wandering past. It was such a serene and relaxing escape!"
