"Very nice people on the front desk who go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay in Cusco. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cusco. "
"The location is great, close to the historical center and very calm. Many good restaurants in the surrounding. The rooms are super comfortable and we felt at home. The host is very kind."
"A Hidden Gem with Heartfelt Hospitality
Staying at this family-owned hotel was like visiting close friends you didn’t know you had. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and treated like part of the family. The room was decent—simple but clean and comfortable—and the hosts more than made up for any lack of luxury with their kindness and care. We left feeling appreciated, rested, and already talking about coming back. A truly special place.

"Book the stay!! This was the best stay I’ve ever had! From the massages ($25 usd or 90 soles) to AMAZING food, to the inside pool, the sauna, to the staff, everything was flawless!"
"We chose this hotel for the proximity to the airport. It is good for what it is. It is a 1 star but I’d actually say 2 stars. We normally stay in 4-5 star hotels. It was fine for a quick night and easy access to the airport"

Kantu Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay in the city of Cusco. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Great hotel at a good price. "
"I stayed in three different hotels during my trip to Peru, and Sonesta was by far my favorite. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The location is about a 15–20 minute walk from the main plaza, which made it pleasantly quieter at night compared to more central hotels. The free breakfast buffet was easily the best I had on the trip both in variety and quality and helped cut down on food costs during the day. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area."

"We thoroughly enjoyed the one night we spent on property. The room was immaculate, so pretty and updated. We had a jacuzzi suite. There was really only enough hot water to fill it, then that’s it. Very typical for the country/area. They were sure to provide extra blankets in the room already, as it does get chilly in Cuzco at night. They provided towels and robes, with little tea candles lit by the tub. In the morning, they brought us breakfast to our room, which was such a nice touch. Be aware they are currently installing an elevator. The desk staff (owner?) was quick to help us up and down the stairs with our suitcase. They also aided in getting us a taxi to the city as well as the airport Also- they kept our bags during the day after check out, free of charge. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip. 10/10 recommend. "
"We spent one night here and are glad that was all. Even though the staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was very small and you could hear everything through the door. No air control like heating was also inconvenient. Breakfast was included with the room. We asked for a queen but the bed felt more like a full. We wouldn’t come back unfortunately. "
