"Staff friendly. First night we had a meal in the restaurant and the food was served Luke warm to cold. To be fair. The manager asked us to return the next night to give them another chance. We did and the food was excellent and the manager gave us a bottle of wine free of charge. The manager of the restaurant was professional and understanding. Full marks to a real gentleman. Went into the spa and pool. It was dirty and looked tired. On the whole. Our room 170. Was a fair walk away but a very clean and large room. Looked brand new. Could do with more staff at the bar. Queue was long every night. Pleasant stay but hotel needs a bit of TLC hear and there"

"We had a fabulous stay. Fun and quirky but still luxurious. Staff were fantastic and the food excellent. Recommended "

"The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, our initial room had several moths, which was not ideal. We were aware that a wedding was taking place at the hotel; however, the music was so loud that it made it impossible to sleep. As we were travelling with four young children, this made the situation particularly challenging. To their credit, the staff handled the situation well and moved us to a room on the fourth floor, which we were grateful for. That said, it was unreasonable to expect guests to pay for a room where the noise levels made it so difficult to rest."

"First impressions at reception and check in were excellent. Room was big and very clean. French doors had gaps and let in cold and noise and boy was it noisy from 3pm to 2am it was non stop, motorbikes, car horns and people shouting and screaming. 6am started again with lorries and dustbins being emptied. Perfect location for all shops and tourist attractions but if you want a good nights sleep forget it."

"The staff was helpful and well-mannered. The room was clean and nicely set up for arrival. We didn't use the amenities; the only problem was that the tap in the hand wash was too stiff for use. Overall, it was a good experience."

"The hotel was lovely but when we arrived we were told there was a party going on in the conference room that would be loud and going on till midnight. We were taken to our room and the noise was ridiculous so they kindly moved us to another room. Unfortunately this room was no better so what was supposed to be a relaxing stay meant we didn’t get to sleep till midnight. Would have been nice to know beforehand so we could have stayed elsewhere! "
