Excellent place,in the middle of nowhere but easy access to town and coast. Simon the owner could not do enough for us. We took our pup and who was welcome everywhere.would definitely stay there again.

The parent in laws stayed and said it was a lovely large place and the host was lovely but although booked though here it went through Sykes cottage and no response from them when messaging.
Mother in law offered recommendations to host of fresh eggs would be nice and a welcome pack but said they had been left a sponge cake which was a nice touch but only one toilet roll.
And although it was very much out of the way they said it was lovely and they would go back.

Great location centre of the town by a car park where you can see your car parked. Very quiet comfortable. Needs more hangers. Local railway we seen the Flying Scotchman.
Nice local beaches. Bars and restaurants walking distance. Excellent facilities.

Fantastic overnight stay. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival by the owner who then took us to a great vantage point to take in the stunning views whilst giving us a brief bit of background history surrounding the building. We took our dog who was welcomed greatly. The staff on site were pleasant and polite and on hand to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was great. Can't wait to return later on in the year.

Everything is about quality over quantity from the number of rooms to the very well prepared meals, which clearly use the best ingredients.
Limited facilities, but this is part of the charm. The owners and waitress were always on hand to ensure satisfaction and are very friendly.
Not suitable for younger children, which will suit many older people looking for a few days of tranquility away from busy lives.
