"The hotel itself is decent, but the service is extremely disappointing. We had to repeatedly ask reception every day just to get water bottles in our room, and even then, they often didn’t deliver. We also booked a fishing trip through the hotel for $720 USD. We showed up at the marina with our two children and waited, but the boat never arrived. When we followed up, we were told the captain had an accident the day before and couldn’t work. The hotel never informed us in advance, leaving us waiting there for nothing. To make matters worse, getting a refund was a hassle. It took three weeks and a complaint through VISA before we finally got our money back. Due to currency exchange, we ended up losing about $50 CAD. I contacted the hotel about this, but they didn’t even bother to respond. Overall, while the property is acceptable, the lack of communication and poor service made for a very frustrating experience."

"We enjoyed our stay, great location. Small tip: bright lighting by the door of apartment (no. 5). It was a bit too dark. And perhaps a larger mirror in the sleeping area."

"We had this very nice studio on the 2nd floor. Nice view, wonderfull bed. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no elevator if you’re bringing heavy baggage. But it was a great stay!"

"We had a great stay at Djambo Apartments….We stayed for 2 weeks. Chris and Cindy our hosts were very friendly, and attentive to our requests. We are new to scuba diving and there were some details that really helped us. We had a locked place to clean and hang our scuba gear each evening. There was a waterproof canister to put our car key in so we could dive w our valuables. There was a chalk board to note what people were seeing (turtles, trunk fish, manta rays, etc.) at different dive sites, there are multiple dive sites and dive shops close to the apartments and we received a 20% discount on certain items by using VIP Dive. There is also on-site laundry and multiple supermarkets within walking distanc. Everyone was very friendly and we certainly will consider staying at Djambo Apartments when we come back. "We love the property! It’s our second time staying there ! The dive shop crew are always friendly and so helpful!! We love they have lockers we can keep our dive gear in to dry overnight !!! The room and grounds are always clean !! And the lazy river is fantastic "

"Studio Suite had a great kitchen. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony. Great mattress, pillows and bedding. Nice casino compared to the other one locafed kn the island. Excellent swimming and snorkeling. Different options to enter the ocean. "
