This was such a great experience! My roommate was really interesting to the point where I think we will be friends going forward. The staff was very helpful and did everything to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. For anyone looking for a safe, lively place to stay that's near everything, I highly recommend Duo Housing!

I don't like this place; it's one of the cheapest options you'll find in the area, but if you can spend about $10 more, avoid this place and choose the other option.Here the bathrooms smell like pee, you can't wear shoes inside meaning you have to step in pee to use the bathroom or brush your teeth, the place is generally clean, it just smells bad everywhere.So if you have enough money to avoid it, I recommend it. The good thing is the location; it's close to public transport stations and bike rentals.

At the moment of payment my card was required, Lamanté was the one on front desk that night, I saw how he saved al the Numbers in my card, included the ccv but just clicked save on the panel they have for all the hosted people. That the only pay I made with my card all the other payments where with my Phone, so is the only way somebody can access to that data. After 3 days, somebody pays and Uber Eats order with that specific card, idk if it was Lamanté or someone else with access to that data on the front desk computer. I would like to leave this evaluation and let know the manager this kind of activities that can happend to other guest. All the other experiences where good.

First time doing hostel. Friendly staff. Short walking distance to where I needed to go (Otakon at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center). Convenient. Met some cool people. Sometimes, the soap ran out in the bottle, but that's all I would realistically complain about.

Killer Hostel

The staff here were friendly, fun and helpful. I've stayed it lots of hostels especially on the Appalachian Trail. This one rocks! It is clean, updated and a good location. Met people I will stay in contact with for future travels. Pancakes! Chocolate chip, blueberry and old fashioned every morning and great coffee. The rooftop is a great place to relax and if ya want to cook something up, they got you there too. Room was a little in the toasty side but the humidity is awful right now. Chill down at night so no worries there. I extended my stay a couple times and will choose this Duo next time I'm in DC..
