"There are shops nearby. We were there during the off-season so most shops closed at 4 or 5. The room was clean, the bed and pillows super comfortable. The room also had a microwave and a fridge. That was awesome for leftovers and early- morning breakfasts. The only concern was the hot water didn't seem enough for 2 people to shower. We had to wait about 15 minutes between people for more hot water. The best part of our hotel was it being walking distance to the Nauvoo Temple. Since attending the temple was a key reason for our trip, that proximity was awesome!"

" Very Clean & Friendly Staff ❤️ Already had great reviews and a hot tub which prompted me to choose this hotel over others! It is so nice to have friendly people greet you after a really long travel day! Not only were the rooms clean, they had comfortable bedding and plenty of really nice pillows. Breakfast area was clean and had everything we needed! Will absolutely come back here next time!!"

"Friendly staff, but my particular room needs an update. Peeling ceiling and flooring in the bathroom. Not sure if other rooms are newer than what I had. That said, I would stay again here as it was very quiet. Breakfast was basic and not my cup of tea, but I saw others enjoying it. "

"Not happy with the way the room was heated. It was a in-wall unit. It was hard to control. The fan ran intermittently and when it ran it was very loud it was. I was unable to put it on a low speed and could not control the temperature"

"The vending machines look really nice, but they don’t work. They charged my card 8x. I called the hotel to figure out what happened. The first gentleman dismissed it, and said it wasn’t a big deal. They’ll just “fall off”. I waited a week, and they didn’t. I called back again and talked to the GM. She kept interrupting me while I was speaking. She seemed so bothered that I called about something so minuscule. I will have to wait weeks for them to do anything. The stay itself was okay. The pool was broken. The lady at check in was the only staff member that was welcoming and kind. "
