"I found the room very clean. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable and I slept very well. I had hoped the TV would be a smart TV so I could sign into Netflix or Prime to watch a movie, but it didn't have that capability. I went down to the hotel pool for a swim. The water was much cooler than I had hoped and the water was quite cloudy. Couldn't clearly see the bottom. I wasn't sure if I should get into it because I don't think the chemicals were done properly, but my desire for a swim outweighed my concern over the chlorine. The sides of the pool needs repainting. Despite these concerns, I'd still stay in this hotel again if I'm ever in the area."
"We stayed at the dome. It was amazing. The setting was perfect, amenities were great. Staff was fabulous. I would recommend the dome and I would definitely go again. So lovely with the wildlife all around too."

"Rooms are small but clean the parking was limited some people had to park down the street. They gave them a parking validation to put in their window of their car to stay there, but the part is is that you have luggage right so you drag your luggage back from your car do you put the luggage in the hotel and then go park your car and walk back I don’t know. I found that very strange. Also the beer fridge or drinking fridge whatever you wanna call it"

"Enjoyed the lakeview from balcony Good breakfast ability to walk to lakeside promenade for restaurants and walking Did not enjoy: shower floor very slippery (needs a non slip mat) Grab rail in wrong position (next to taps should be on wall) Great balcony with 2 chairs ( needs a small table for snacks and wine to enjoy the lake ) TV i living room a bit small ( bigger in bedroom ) Bedroom could use a chair for putting cloth ( no place except floor ) These are easily fixed minor concerns, otherwise we rally enjoyed our stay and would return and recommend"
"I have no issue with hotel rooms with run down, tacky furniture - especially when the price is right - but there is no excuse for the room being dirty. Although the hosts were friendly, they need to change how they clean. And if they can’t get the gross dirt off the cabinets and furniture - replace it! If we weren’t just using the room to sleep, I would have left and found a way to seek my money back from Expedia. At least sheets were fresh and soft. I just didn’t enjoy the feeling that I needed to keep my shoes on when walking around the room. And I definitely did not use any of the drawers and cupboards to unpack my belongings."
"Beautiful view. Super easy check in.
Parking is right at your door no matter what floor you’re on. Be perfect with kids during warmer months. Beach and park right across the street ."
"Very occasionally you come across a special place that will stay with you forever. Saucy Willow is that. Beautiful setting and gardens, house that is tastefully and lovingly renovated. The rooms are great, super comfy beds, powerful shower, fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and filled us up (thanks Dave for packaging scones for us to take away).
All the small touches show the care that Stephanie and Dave have for their guests - a fire by the river in the evening, beach towels for after swimming, ear plugs for light sleepers (the only noise is that of the countryside), a game of scrabble in the lounge.
We cannot recommend the Saucy Willow enough - we will be back."
